No Problems getting it shipped to the US. The Deva was my favorite. I also bought some from Sebor that was pretty good. All were distilled with Worm Wood and had good Thujone Levels. The reason it's illegal is because of the thujone content (wormwood) in it. Thujone is considered a poison and is not allowed over a certain amount in food. Absinthe falls under FDA jurisdiction (not DEA) and it is simply illegal to sell in the US. Importing it or possessing it, is ok. The one I bought was delivered by Air Express from France (to Florida). No problems whatsoever. Well, I just spent the last two hours or so at work looking up different absinthes, reading reviews, and what not.... and the final result is: the best commercial absinthes you can buy right now are from Liquers de France (True Swiss le Blueues are better BUT unavailable for all I know) The ones that were recommended were: Either of the two Jade liquors Un Emile 68 Sapin This ad space for sale. It makes for a quite a fun party when you got a bunch of people running around all high on Absinthe.
