Where have you lived?

Recommended Posts

I was born in Minnesota, my Dad moved himself and his four daughters to Seattle, Washington a long, long time ago. I've been here ever since. But I think my heart belongs to Arizona. I love it there!

When I lived in Portland, I traveled to Coos Bay at least once a month, Coos Bay, Reedsport, Gold Beach, Brookings....beautiful area. Television? Charter Comm?

Max: You need to come back to Oregon. The weather has been great this year. Good for skydiving. Oh, in answer to your question, I work for the local TV station in C.B.

Most certainly I'll visit Oregon again, but I belong in California...faster drivers ;)
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Born and raised:
Covina, CA (boring little suburb in L.A.)

I moved around a bit when I was able to myself:
Azusa, CA (3 years)
Forest Falls, CA (3 months)
Grand Teton National Park, WY (3 years)
London, England (6 months)
Prague, Czech Republic (1 year)
Vero Beach, FL (1 month, but had a PO box!)

And now I'm stuck back in Covina..... :(
Only upside is sunny skydiving weather year-round. Well, it's a sacrifice! ;)

We were never feeling bored because we were never being boring.

Opelika, Alabama to Fort Worth, Texas to Dallas, Texas to Arlington, Texas to three different places in the Philadelphia, PA metro to Denver, Colorado to Bowie, Maryland to Opelika, Alabama to Coram, Long Island, New York to three different places around Colorado Springs, Colorado then back to Opelika, Alabama then off to Germany for two years and here to Fayetteville, North Carolina. I have been here in NC since 1984; much longer than any other place I have ever lived. Of course before I bought my first house here I lived in 12 different houses, trailers, or apartments as other people's roommate.

Spent my first 18 years on this planet growing up in the same house in Georgia. Moved out but stayed in the same town for a year and then I joined the Air Force. Permanent stations were

Spokane, WA. 3 1/2 years
Ft Walton Beach, FL 5 months
Clarksville, TN 2 1/2 years
Tongduchon/Song Tae, South Korea 14 months
Fayetteville, NC 2 years
Back in the Atlanta area for 2 years now

Of course I spent months at a time in other places not the least of which was the location of the WFFC. I spent 2 1/2 months in a tech school there. I'm suprised I survived that. It was tough being 19 years old and having the University of Illinois just a short drive away. :D

Well, I've been to 42 of the 50 states and stayed for a while but I've only lived in FLORIDA!;)

Grew up in Altamonte Springs, Fl, about 15 minutes from Orlando.
Moved to Gainesville, Fl for school at UF.
Moved to Orlando, Fl when I transfered to UCF.
Moved to Atlantic Beach, FL when I transfered, again to UNF.
With all those transfers, I still managed to graduate on time!;) I just can't sit still in school is my problem:P

I still live on Atlantic Beach. I LOVE it here. It's the best place I've lived thus far. I wouldn't change living on the beach for the world so I guess moving to any state that's not on the ocean is out of the questionB|.

I LOVE to travel, though:P And, I'm only 22 and most of you have probably done a lot of your moving in your adult lives. Still, I can't see myself living anywhere but FL. I visited enough states to know what I like;)

Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
