I watch Tom & Jerry on the cartoon network.

Tom and Jerry is just about my all-time favorite cartoon. B|

Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner Show is the other favorite. Especially those battles between the road runner and Wiley E Coyote.

So much good, clean violence! B|B|B| :D

Early to mid sixties I was watching Popeye, Mighty Mouse (the OLD one, though the new eighties version was pretty good too), Magilla Gorilla, Milton the Monster, The Beatles (yep - the fab four had their own cartoon show), Tom Slick, and of course the Buggs Bunny Show.

Jonny Quest ruled the airwaves. That was about the coolest. Fireball XL-5 was almost as cool. I kind of liked Super Chicken in a campy way when I was a little older.

Animaniacs and Doug were ones I enjoyed watching with my son when he got to cartoon age. Also Winnie the Pooh.

My memory is kinda fuzzy on this (ok, REALLY fuzzy) and I've yet to meet anyone who can tell me what cartoon I'm thinking of. This was a Saturday morning cartoon in the late 70's or early 80's. It was space-based, with Japanese style characters (think Speed Racer). I *think* the main two characters were brother and sister, and it seems like the opening sequence always ended with one or both of them standing on something that was supposed to represent a planet, even though the person standing on it was bigger than it.

I'm sure more will come to me, but that's what I remember immediately.

Edit to add: Holy shit! I just remembered on my own! It's been bugging me off and on for like 15 years! :) The answer is "STAR BLAZERS" (wait for the lyrics) :D

Hey Dumpster, I think Fritz the Cat, an animated porno from the late 60's or so, was a satire of what the real Felix the cat should have been like. Worth checking out sometime for a good laugh. I'm a little hazy on what kind of plot it had......
