Which pets do you like?

Recommended Posts

I want a puppy and a kitty and a horsie! :)
In my lifetime, I've had:

Birds (Cockatiels, Parakeets)
Cats
Dogs
Fish
Guinea Pigs
Hamsters
Mice

I don't do the "S's." No snakes, spiders or scorpions. I think that having to endure scorpions sharing my residence when I first moved to Texas was PLENTY! >:(

Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? (RIP Buzz)
Yep, you're a postwhore-billyvance

I need another choice: Pets are great for others.

Good point. Then read the question as what pets you'd like to keep yourself.

Cats are my fave, always been a cat person. Some damn smart creatures, and I like that. Other favorites are reptiles of various kind, and of course arachnids. Can't go wrong with creepy crawly things.

And of course who wouldn't love an alien as a pet. Makes for some interesting visits by friends. "Holy shit, is that an alien???" "What, you've never seen one domesticated? What rock have you been living under?"

Ask the Tanner family about Alf. They'll probably say your mileage may vary...

Also... Alf doesn't want to phone home, he just does it. And you get to pay the bill. Those long-distance calls to Melmac add up quickly...

that's why I keep the alien in a cage with a force field surrounding it to keep him from calling long-distance.

Try that with Darth Vader. I don't think it will work.

You forgot one:

Men make great pets!

:D

No they don't! They constantly get out of the yard and run away! >:( And getting their shots and check-ups and specialty food is very expensive. They don't do well in obedience school, either. :| Mine smells, too! >:( He smokes cigars!

:D:D:D

I like birds, dogs, and horsies.

I've never had a horsie. I have wanted one since I was 5. Can somebody please oblige? :)

Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Perhaps you're using the wrong training method. ;)

I have two horses, five dogs and two cats. Yes, you can have a horsie ride.

You might have to smack him around a little. I'm not sure he'll take to the leash at first.
