I believe I picked up a Racer/Astrobe 215/26' lopo for about $1300 at about jump number 16 or so. We jump 182's and 206's. We don't hook up anything til around 8000'. We aren't the smallest guys and it gets real tight as you well know. I'm surprised noone mentioned the posibilty of getting AIDS (Altitude Induced Divorce Syndrome) once you actually start skydiving. I've been jumping my '92 Sabre 135 since '95 and love the fast openings. However, I always split rolled the nose with about 5 or 6 rolls and shoved it in the center then made sure the slider was quartered. Openings were in the 400' range. Very predictable. Trash packing resulted in a much more interesting opening. Lost my goggles once. Just switched to a Stiletto and still adjusting to its' openings. Don't be discouraged. This place has a ton of potential. Currently they are flying a 182 but a fast climbing 206 will be flying in a couple of months. This is a private airport so no other planes to worry about. The staff is knowledgable, safety oriented, and make you feel at home. No sky gods here. Great place to learn. There is a loft for after hour relaxation and air conditioned packing. What else do you need?

I still remember my very first jump as vividly as if were yesterday. 2 sec delay from 370'.
