  1. Just remember, if you use any thing but a CYPRES, you WILL die! The statistics clearly show that 100% of all non-CYPRES owning individuals will die! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  2. I would NEVER vote for a president that is anything but either Agnostic or Atheist! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  3. Just out of curiosity, because it might become important during some point of my first flight on this suit... What exactly is the best way to get the gripper out of the way when pulling in a P2? Or do you just pull while still holding the gripper? And no, its not a joke. I genuinely am this stupid... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  4. Why does a wingsuit manufacturer have nothing to do with a poll about wingsuit manufacturers? Simply because the question asked was "In your opinion, which of these manufacturers make the best wingsuits?" If you review the list, "these" only referred to the four wingsuit manufacturers I was interested in opinions on. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  5. Why doesn't someone string them along and then post the email thread for our amusement? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  6. Kind of ironic considering that all laws were created because of emotion... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  7. We should build a school for Taliban terrorists on ground zero so that the whole world knows how tolerant we are. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  8. Fly your what? Who's that? Just kidding. But really, they have nothing to do with this poll, which is why they aren't listed. Blue skies, Keith Medlock

  11. In your opinion, which of these manufacturers make the best wingsuits? I'm not talking about price, build time, customer service, etc. I'm talking absolute end product here. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  12. From the Phoenix Fly Phantom 2 User Manual... Section 8: Emergency Procedures Section 8.1: Wing Cutaway system The Phoenix Fly wing cutaway system was designed for use as a backup device. Three reasons you may want to cut your wings away could be: • You are unstable or not comfortable with your flight. (You can cut the wings away in freefall and bring your arms up into a box position) And here... Section 8.2: Uncontrollable Spins in Flight With a highly manoeuvrable suit like the PHANTOM 2 it is possible to end up in a flat spin. A failed manoeuvre, collision or bad exit can in rare cases cause this to occur. The corrective action is simple: • Pull your knees up to your chest and collapse your arm wings • Once you see the ground, open your arm wings to regain stability • Once you are belly to earth and stable, re-open the leg wing • Once you're flying, re-orient yourself to the DZ and continue the skydive If the unlikely situation that this process does not work, try cutting away your arm wings and assuming the “box position” to regain control. 18. So, at what point is an old canopy TOO old? Or do you just wait for a cell to blow out... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  19. My tubes suck also. I usualy have to equalize pressure every 1000ft during canopy flight, and have even had to grab my nose and blow during freefall in a 4 way because of the head pressure! Don't have that problem during wingsuit flights though... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  20. Per PD... "The fabric PD uses comes to us already coated. The coating is put on in such a manner that it is forced into the fibers and then run through rollers at very high heat to “cure” the coating. This is not something that can be done after market. However, I have seen very few of our 0-Porosity canopies that no longer fly well due to the loss of the new crispiness. This loss of crispiness is usually viewed as a good thing because the canopy is then so much easier to pack. Typically the only area that needs any extra attention is the center top skin. This skin takes the most abuse during packing. The PCA area gets a lot of handling when setting the pilot chute kill line. From that point to the tail gets a lot of handling when pushing the air out during packing. We have had canopies that we replaced that skin for these reasons and the canopy was nearly “reborn”. It is all a case by case basis though. We can certainly take a look at your canopy and determine what it needs." Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  21. I've sent PD an email, but was wondering if anyone here has any insights. Can you re-ZP coat a canopy that is starting to feel like F-111 and restore it to like new, or is the only option a new canopy? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  22. I realize you're just trying to have fun with this, but at least contribute something productive to the conversation. These little snide remarks don't do anything. No one in here suggested that ALL religious people are evil. Religion is just the root of a large percentage of the world's violence. Ha! The snide remark did something, because you responded, and I don't think there's anything productive to contribute to such a silly thread, but I'll try... Many are too short sighted and/or close minded to see that it's also the root of a large percentage of the world's peace. How was that? An anology: Two guys are working in a homeless shelter. Both work equally hard and help out. One guy is doing it because he believes it's the right thing to do and just wants to help others. The other guy is there only because of a cute chick there he wants to bang. While the actions may be the same, the motives are not. Well, I know which on I am! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
