  1. Thanks for the info Jarno. Although my profile ws jumps aren't accurate (I haven't updated in a long time.), I still won't be jumping a Venom any time soon. I fly the P2, and after trying the R-Bird for around 10 jumps, I appreciate how nice the P2 is SOOOO much more. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  2. Who gives a shit who made, copied, thought of, stole, paid royalties for, didn't pay royalties for, etc! The point is, Phoenix Fly and Tony are hard at it in the competition arena, and the result is REALLY cool toys! I'm personally a fan of the Phoenix Fly line, but I love both of them for what they've done for the sport. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  3. For all you experienced ws pilots... I've done 40mph sustained vertical speeds for an entire flight with an R-Bird. I'm 135 and 5ft 10in. What kind of sustained vertical speed could I expect from an X-Bird or Venom? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  4. Mandatory hanging harness drills every day would save lives as well. No it wouldn't. People would realize they react faster to emergencies and start pulling lower. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  5. I think the min opening altitude should be lowered to the ground. If you hit the ground before deploying, then you're instantly grounded. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  6. +1 Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  7. Right you are, sir. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  8. That sucks... I love my Mirage Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  9. They've been bsing about the DRX for a long time now, hence my question about the skyhook. I've given up on the DRX... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  10. Has anyone here seen a G4 with a skyhook. Yes, I know it's not offered, but it is doable, and I'm sure someone has... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  11. Lol! I guess you've got speed covered then... ...until the V4 is finished! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  12. I get rediculous forward speed in my P2. Have you tried one of those? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  13. Height: 5ft 10in Weight: 135 Wingsuit: R-Bird Exit: 13650ft Deploy: 3000ft Delay: 169sec Average speed: 44mph Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  14. Fuck Mirage and their DRX bullshit and lies. For what its worth, I have a G4 and love it. I just can't stand their DRX runaround. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  15. I called Pacific. Would you recommend SDH instead? The only reason I thought of Pacific first is because they have a PAC. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  16. Thanks for the info! I tried to call but didn't get anyone. I'll try back after the holiday weekend and work it out... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  17. Okay, I'm going to Hawaii on January 14 and staying at a Waikiki hotel. Are any of you locals that live near Waikiki and can give me a ride in exchange for gas and a jump ticket? I checked the bus routes, and even after a 2+ hour ride, I would still have to walk over 2 miles to the airfield. Hell, even If I could get a ride to and from the last bus stop on north shore, that would be worth a ticket by itself! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  18. I'm looking for information on great vacation destinations where I can travel with my wuffo better half. Idealy, there would be cool tourist stuff just like any other vacation for her and I to enjoy, but also a great dz nearby with a killer view to sneak in a day of wingsuit flying, but still not piss off the woman. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  19. Oops. I meant to put this in general skydiving. Sorry. Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  20. 240 skydives with a bit of nervousness before exiting. Now, there's no nerves and WAY too much complacency that I just can't help. One of my friends set up an impromptu low pull intervention I felt like such a jackass! Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  21. I'm in control, and make one plan on the ground, but in the air I keep making poor decisions... Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  22. I love flying my wingsuit and I'm starting to pull lower and lower. I don't feel ANY nervousness, fear, or even the slightest bit of aprehension before, during, or after leaving the aircraft. The real excitement now comes from flying closer and closer to earth. Therefore I'm giving it a rest for a bit so I don't die. This sucks! (sorry, just wanted to vent...) Blue skies, Keith Medlock
