Thanks, but unfortunately that is the link for Prem 6, I have already tried 6 and 6.5 and didnt like them. So far Adobe have not as far as I am aware released a demo of Prem Pro. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Speaking as a "Brit" who has served three tours in Northern Ireland, whilst appalled by the events that took place on Sept 11th, I found it ironic that the area chosen for the attack is/was one of the biggest supporters of the IRA. More money is/was raised in New York for the IRA than anywhere else (just think of the contributions made on St Patricks day). I was in Elsinore the Nov following the attacks, and almost all of the people I spoke to were unaware of Noraids links with the IRA and the acts of terrorism that they have perpetrated in Northeren Ireland and the UK mainland. As a parachute instructor I have only paid for 2 of the 900+ jumps I have done in the last 2 years or so. However, I was a "proper" soldier for 17 years, have been on operational tours of Northern Ireland, The Gulf (91), Former Yugoslavia, etc. etc. The job I do at the moment is a 6 day a week job including nearly every weekend working upto 14 hours a day during the summer. Of the 900+ jumps i have done since i have been in the job around 700 have been below 5k, I have not earned a penny for any video work I have done although I have all my own camera gear, and less than 50 have been genuine non working FUN jumps. That said I have done 900+ jumps in 2 years had a trip to Elsinore, Ampuria, 2 weeks skiing in Bavaria and another trip to Perris coming up in Jan 04. All that and the British Tax payer picks up the tab, so I guess I cant complain. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Jonathan 150 loaded at 1.7 Nice soft openings, also have a Sabre 170 but dont use it for camera due to the odd rogue opening. I have a Firefly freefly camera suit and it is the bollox. I have the big wings and find it gives me excellent range, from 105mph - 155mph (so far). Ive not tried sitflying with it yet but will do soon. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

So Today I have been married for 11 years, and coz I am the perfect husband my wifes anniversary present is to go home to see her family and friends in England.(I am in the British Army in Germany and she really misses them) I am home alone, internet porn has lost its charm, as have chat rooms. The weather has been shit and I am both bored and lonely (what a pity my wife doesnt surf this forum). So I download some chooons. I download stuff from my formative years, Madness, The Jam, The Specials etc.... As I listen to what I have downloaded it strikes me that in 20 years music hasnt come that far. What would the youth of today think of "Pretty Vacant" "Anarchy in the UK" or "God Save The Queen" All of which were looked on with disgust by the British media, preceding Eminem et al by many years. "God Save The Queen" was the first No1 in the UK not to be named. Has anything simmilar happened in the US (serious question). These are songs which I feel do not deserve the ammount of pillaring they recieved. Far from it, they deserve to be celebrated for allowing freedom of thought and expresion in what is otherwise a very straightlaced country. I dont jump an Icarus canopy, or have anything to do with Icarus. BUT "The Crossfire disaster" was due to the Crossfires that were built in America and not Spain. Ive noit jumped a xfire but i know people that do and they swear by them. Still what do I know? I fly a 10 year old Jonathan which is far better than than the year old Stilleto ive demo'd. Im all for DZ's making profit, thats why they are in business. However, they make profit on the Tandem, they make profit on the cameramans slot, then they make profit on the actual video/stills that the cameraman produces. I do think that is milking the cash cow just a little too much. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

So far it seem that DZ's are making between $30 and $50 on camera slots. I take it that this covers the cost of the cameraman's slot. Why do DZ's take more than the price of the slot from the cost of a video (one dz charges $100 for vid and stills but pays the cameraman $50). This does seem a little unfair to me being as the cameraman has invested a large ammount of money and time building his skill and equipment. As well as having to edit the video etc. As it happens at my DZ RAPA in Germany I am not allowed to profit from my position on staff, therefore I do all my video work for free. The only money I do make is E5 for shooting a roll of stills. However when I go back to the UK I do hope to earn a bob or two from camera. I had Brian reline my Jon150 at the begining of the year. He did a bang up job and it was done within 6 weeks, anmd that was only because I had friends take it out to the US from Germany and bring it back on separerate trips. Ive since put abou 200 jumps on the new linbe set and it flies like a dream, like a brand new canopy. I still wouldnt mind flying a Jedei though if anyone has a spare one lying around doing nothing. buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I am not after video of fatalities rather v serious incidents. The footage will not be aired to the general public, rather to a small number of candidates on an instructors course. These are the very people who will be expected to educate new jumpers. I have footage I can use but it involves UK jumpers and I would rather not use it in the forum I will be presenting the lecture in. A good friend of mine killed himself in front of his fiance on a demo. She is happy for the footage to be used to educate, I however would rather not use footage of my friend. I also have some great footage of me with a severely dislocated ankle and broken fibula. I told my mate to go fetch his camera so I had it for just this eventuality. Unfortunately I didnt manage to film my landing that would have been exactly what im looking for. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
