  2. Yes it is a bit confusing. It could also mean Not Available . But i guess people will just have to learn that NA means Non-American "George just lucky i guess!"
  3. congratulations!!! nice looking formation
  4. Great progress. It sure is visible that your sit flying is better than before. But you shouldn't lean so much forward, because you'll slide backwards (unless cameraman just caught you in that position). Keep your torso vertical and your spine straight. And don't forget to have fun! "George just lucky i guess!"
  5. here comes backup from slovenia !!! "George just lucky i guess!"
  6. are you sure they are all 7 cells? aren't they maybe 7 cell crossbraced ("21 cells") ? "George just lucky i guess!"
  7. i learned how to fly head down. i am learning to fly head down for 30 jumps. Some of those jumps were good some of them bad, and i didn't know if i'm sliding all over the sky, am i vertical or anything, till this weekend, when i got my reference point (friend in stand
  8. hah did you see space shuttle launch in the background. "George just lucky i guess!"
  9. isn't bottle of beer better option, and you can drink BEER out of it ? "George just lucky i guess!"
  10. I'll remind you what you said about loving your rig when i get my mirage. Beter don't cheet on your rig with mine i bet you'll say one time is no time "George just lucky i guess!"
  11. there is no such thing as "can't jump" if i can't jump out of the plane i jump on the bed with a girl, or at least i'm trying to "George just lucky i guess!"
  12. hmm looks like you have to find some insatiable MAN, and i think i know one And loose that generator for a vibrator, you need a nuclear plant. "George just lucky i guess!"
  13. how many times a week/day do you change batteries "George just lucky i guess!"
  14. hmm i'm buying or should i say making money for my new rig. I thing differences are big, especially when it comes to paying my way of choosing my gear was... it has to be the safest and the best on the market no mater the cost... i started looking and came to javelin odyseey, mirage g4, vector 3, wings, and voodoo 2. second request was comfort. And list got smaller odyseey and mirage g4 (but that's just a personal opinion). then how the rig looks (personal again). and i came to Mirage G4. And the last to consider, but quite important, was what other people think about that rig. But than again you have to have enough money to buy a brand new custom made with everything that is possible mirage g4, and still have enough money for jumps. Or you can just fall in love with the container, like me "George just lucky i guess!"

    Rules of Pie?

huh, pied, if anyone knows anything about being pied, that is me. In our country we don't "throw" pies in our faces, instead the one who is "pied" has to present their butt so that everyone, who did what he just did (100 jumps, new parachute,...), can slap him on his butt. and was pied about uff x times : first jump, first freefall jump, another dropzone (3 times), made license (we only have one - similar to D-license), first elliptical canopy, 100th jump, 200th jump, first 15000 feet, first baloon jump, another plane (2 times), i can't remember if i was slapped for my first camera jump but,... i think you got the picture Anyway we slap each other "quite often", but i enjoy slapping others to, especially when a girl does something for the first time i already did "George just lucky i guess!"
  16. maybe they have to much sex, and englishmen just don't have the strength for 24 hour "work" "George just lucky i guess!"
  17. Would it be possible to pack a bigger reserve than recommended in mirage containers. We, for example were able to pack a reserve one size bigger in javelin and atom without much of a problem
  18. I totaly understand. I'm beeing grounded too, but not because our plane is in service, but because it's raining for almost 3 weeks. I barely know how the sun looks like? And i have no idea what the hell will i be doing this weekend. Probably drinking beer on the dropzone and waiting for the clouds to go away "George just lucky i guess!"
  19. stand is probably (just guessing) easier for you because you don't have to push your legs down, you just hang on your arms and control balance with them. (and whole body of course). But when you are sitting a lot of muscles is working even if you are not feeling like that. One day after my first successful sit jumps muscles in my legs, back (actually everything) hurt. To sit you have to push your legs down quite hard, don't let wind blow them up and torso has to be straight (think tall ) but you still have to be flexible enough to correct small mistakes that would make you unstable. And like everything in freefly one day i will just say "CLICK" in your head and you'll know how to sit - Just practice Hope that helps "George just lucky i guess!"
  20. skymaster 270 (0.75) = 50 jumps PD 9-cell 210 (1.0) = 120 jumps spark 190 (1.1) = 10 jumps atair cobalt 170 (1.25) = 20 jumps atair impulse (alpha) 135 (1.55) = 50 jumps atair impulse (alpha) 120 (1.75) = 1 jump I wouldn't recommend wing loading that big (1.55 - 1.75) at 250 jumps, unless there is almost nobody else in the air (avoiding traffic problems) when you jump and you are smart enough not to start thinking that you know this canopy becauseyou have 50 jumps on it and starting to learn hook turns !!! you have to know that this canopy can kill (i hope i got that in my brain for at least 200 jumps ) "George just lucky i guess!"
  21. i think that reverse risers are risers that have 3-ring assembled in that way, that when canopy is packed, risers are covering 3-ring, otherwise riser is on the bottom and 3-ring is on the riser. When canopy is packed, at reverse risers you can't see the 3-ring, you have to move a riser a bit and look behind a riser. if i am assuming correctly "George just lucky i guess!"
  22. Hah and i thought i am the only weirdooo practicing tracking in a pool. Yeah you can feel the difference, but i think the main part is how much do you push with your legs off the side. And i think it is impossible to push everytime with same amount of strength. Pool is even better for practicingHeadDown. The good part is that when you get out of the pool, everybody is staring at you, wondering what the hell were you doing upside down in a pool "George just lucky i guess!"
