i think there was a good bit more back ground that was meant to occur in and around that scene but was cut due to time constraints..after all they arent about to leave any of the multi million dollar CGI footage on the floor... i was pretty annoyed with the CGI stuff on a regular basis..there were far to many scenes where it was obvious that it wasnt the actor (facial features far to cartoonish and not even a good cartoon version)...particularly in the action sequences... i think we could have gotten alot more out of it if it was less edited..thank goodness for DVD releases..hopefully they do it justice there.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Is this just a choice of words? Just because someone is not degreed doesn't make them uneducated. i never implied that it did, however they are much more likely to be very narrow in thier study and education unless they follow a guided course of instruction that exposes them to avenues of thought that they would not necessarily look down on their own.. I thought life taught this, mine has. really? on research ability I would easily put someone with formal education against anyone who tries to do it on their own. Where to find the best sources for information is not always as obvious as it might seem. As bill stated already..its much easier to learn & not repeat stupid (and potentially lethal in some fields) mistakes that were made by others years before if you have a qualified teacher. as to the degred people in PETA, perhaps your right, but one of the side benefits of a formal education is it usually requires you to travel and experience more than you would if you stayed in your home town. if she'll let me i'll post the video of that dive on the net somewhere (skydivingmovies.com still up??) i showed it to JT in the bombshelter and one of the canadian military team (who had been doing CRW all day) damn near sprayed his beer across the room when the bottom guy cutaway.. edit: i have to say its one of my favorite skydiving vids ever..even before i started jumping it reached me on a very personal/artistic level.. 3 as a group cruising along on a beautiful day, but then suddenly you lose one and then everything changes.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
