  1. Talk to Erin Franke from Elemental. This is right up their alley and something they are actively working on. "I love when humans fly,"
  2. Given that extraordinary circumstances created the residue, would it not just be best to involve the manufacturer? "I love when humans fly,"
  3. Precision is a whole different ball of wax. But if you need clarification on a serial number or manufacturer, give the service center a call. We are more than happy to help you out. Meredith. "I love when humans fly,"
  4. Hi, Once you are off student gear, even used equipment is usually more comfortable. Try the padded biking shorts. You can get them with butt and thigh padding. A bit goofy, but will spare your thighs and Man bits at the end of the day. They are also good for preventing the dreaded "nut under." Prevention is key, because once you have one, you will automatically regret all of your life choices. Mirage has a "wide saddle" option for leg pads, and they are dreamy. Something to think about when you are looking to buy gear. "I love when humans fly,"

  6. They do offer neon colors as a harness option, so I will go for the bet. "I love when humans fly,"
  7. Hi, Check with Sun Path. They offer neon green as an option for risers. http://www.sunpath.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=11 "I love when humans fly,"
  8. If the container is in great shape and the price is right, new risers from the factory can be had for about $150, which is a pretty cheap investment to get an old rig back into the air. And yes, an independent rigger should inspect it prior to purchase. But unless the seller is in the US, it is not likely worth the cost to send it to the factory for inspection. 9. The risers and toggles are still new material. As they wear, they will be more flexible and squishable, and you will be able to pull the slider down the risers easily. When new, it is still possible, but you will have to fight with it, and it takes more force than you would expect. It is just the nature of the materials used. The grommets are the standard size for the industry. When brand new it can be a struggle to get the grommets over the toggle, and in the air, you need to focus on having a good canopy over your head, and clear airspace. It simply takes time for the stiffness of new materials to break in. You did get what you paid for. "I love when humans fly,"
  10. When you visit Sun Path, take your wing suit with you. They may want to see you fully geared to help determine the cause. "I love when humans fly,"
  11. The first thing I bought off student status was a jumpsuit and a helmet. You will feel better in your own gear, and if you intend to do any tunnel time, you can fly your own suit. You can get a solid belly suit for $500 or less, which really is a drop in the bucket for gear. If you jump at a medium to large sized DZ, it is not uncommon for newer jumpers with more funds, and hence, their own gear, to share if they are not jumping. This is very common at my DZ, especially if you are a lady. Just make sure it is solid gear, with properly size canopies. Gear rental is a huge fund suck, but it keeps you in the air. Keep an eye out for used gear. Find something safe and used to jump. Once you get a decent chuck of jumps under your belt, you can upgrade for all of the bells and whistles. I know several jumpers that blew their wad right away on custom gear, and by the time the gear arrived, other things had drawn their attention away from jumping. Also keep in mind that there is very little profit margin on a suit vs a rig. Of course the gear store wants to to buy gear. "I love when humans fly,"
  12. Sun Path offers neon green webbing for harnesses. If you ask nicely, they will likely sell you some or at least give you their vendors name. "I love when humans fly,"
  13. Check inside the end cells on the white support tapes. There should be a serial number hand written on the tape. The DOM should be there as well. If not, Aerodyne can look up the serial number to provide the DOM. "I love when humans fly,"

  17. I want to have babies with my Pfaff 3334. That said, if I was forced to use a zig zag, I expect I would use a jig until enough repetitions allowed for me to install a lineset quickly and accurately without it. A bartacker will also come in handy for a large range of canopy repairs. "I love when humans fly,"
  18. Once the rig is packed, take a front, side, and rear photo of you wearing it. If after packing it still doesn't 'fit right' email SunPath. The yoke may be too small. Their Customer service is pretty amazing. But remember, student rigs usually have the hell jumped out of them. Fear sweat, rough landings, and 10 years in circulation, while trying to accommodate as many body types as possible lead to flattened padding and harnesses that fit well enough, but not perfectly. Contact your dealer and they can talk you through. "I love when humans fly,"
  19. I have a customer with a black, silver, and orange PDR from sometime in the 90's. Freaky, but not totally unusual. "I love when humans fly,"
  20. We used to use a 50/50 mix of cheap vodka and water, in a spray bottle for costumes that could not be readily laundered. Once it dries the smell goes away. "I love when humans fly,"
  21. Take a rig that you don't like very much. The dust out there is pretty nasty. Plan on a rig wash when you get home. "I love when humans fly,"
  22. Hi, I am trying to locate Steve Morris, a rigger from Decatur, IL. Seal SAV. PM please. Meredith. "I love when humans fly,"
  23. You need Explorer 9 or earlier. Yes, they know it is out dated. "I love when humans fly,"
