yes. I put the pair in b/c most people don't know what "Tvier" means. Technically redundant but I'm ok with that. Okay, so the official name is "Tvier Swooping", which no one will understand. So the better way of expressing it is something like "Tvier (pair) Swooping". Got it. Sheesh, why don't they just give it a name to start with that makes sense. Something like "Synchronized Swooping". Sounds cool. Sounds dangerous. Talk to Al; it's PD's event. I didn't name it I'm just judging it and recruiting more judges for it.

I hope there are some qualifications on the participants to make sure this goes well and doesn't kill anyone. . They all had to be established pro swoopers and all teams has to be pre approved. What's "Tvier"? It's some fancy foreign word that apparently means "two" or "pair". They just thought it sounded cool What it means though, is that all of the competitors will compete and score as a two person team. So two people will be swooping for each run. Hey boys and girls! In case you haven't heard, October 5-7 Skydive City in Zephyrhills is hosting the PD Tvier Pair Swooping Competition. The very first of its kind! An entire TEAM swooping event! If you want the best seats in the house for this competition, come help us judge! We need judges especially for Friday and Saturday. If you can only do one day, that's fine. That sounds reasonable, but I'm looking for something lower drag, that looks like I was poured into and will eventually have to be cut out of with trauma shears. oh! old school style suit then. Windmiller has a sexy red pleather one. You should definitely go that route too. Except maybe go with sparkly pink or neon yellow.

My experience has been similar. They're usually pretty good about moving so the smoke doesn't bug me or somebody else. I have had to talk to some newer jumpers, but it's usually just because they don't think about it. They just think "I'm outside, it's cool to smoke" Once aware they're pretty good about it though. I also try not to be a dick when asking them to move to someplace else.

Are you annoyed just because he is smoking near you or because he is leaving burning butts where it can harm gear? If it's just over them smoking, I've just gotten used to that part of skydiving. But most of my smoking friends aren't assholes about it. They'll shift circles so I can be up wind of them or wont smoke too close to me. If its the gear thing, this pisses me off too. I bought a used rig with the only sign of wear being a small hole caused by a smoker's careless ashes landing on the rig. (The smoker wasn't the owner either, which makes it way worse.) It didn't cause any structural damage, but it's quite obvious and you can see it. I can't believe a smoker, jumper or not, would be that careless near other people's things.

The seat belt wasn't enough for me. All I could think was "I don't have a rig what if that hop n pop takes out the plane?!" silly but i wanted to make sure I was hooked to a rig and not just the plane.
