  3. I just moved here and am staying at one of Solly's bunk houses till I find a place. It's really nice and cheap. Just call manifest and ask for Solly
  4. Back of my tiny old SUV is converted into a bed. The seats are down with ply wood and 4" of padding over them with two sleeping bags, a body pillow to keep me away from the sides of the car and a regular pillow. Stuff goes in the front two seats if I'm in the back. Love my set up. I did the tent thing both in tiny tent and taj ma tent with all kinds of air mattresses and shit. Never took proper care of them b/c was too lazy to clean them properly after the trip.
  5. I just had to share/gloat about my day today.
  6. I hope you mean 2 or 3 Go Pros and not that you'd buy just one Go Pro 2... Also you need WAY more than just the helmet arm mount. You need every mounting kid possible. You need to catch EVERY angle. Also I agree with the drink better beer thing... Miller Lite really?
  7. Why isn't there just a "I haven't tried it" option? It's not a NO for me. I'd try it. But I don't regularly eat them so I'm not a yes either...
  8. 1)Whats your personal motivation behind jumping out of an airplane. It makes me happy. It makes my world make sense. I get depressed if I wait too long to jump again. 2) What factor does adrenaline in YOUR own skydives. A lot. It's crack. It's what drives me back again and again. 3)What factor does pushing your skills to the next level play in your time in the sky I love learning new things, but I don't always focus on it. Also, while I don't mean to be a complete dick, I feel this needs mentioning. If you are going to ask people for information for an article, presentation, or scientific endeavor, please use correct grammar and proofread. It's like punching science and literature in the face when you use poor English while gathering information. And I happen to like science and literature, so please don't face punch them. Thanks.
  9. Depends on the job and the interviewer. With some I've mentioned it and they love it. With others I've decided not to. It just depends on the hiring person. Now this last interview I did, but it was for a skydiving job...
  10. Go zip lining with Toro Verde (http://www.toroverdepr.com/index_eng.html) I went with some people I met at the boogie and it was a blast! plus between ziplines you get to do a little bit of hiking in the mountains and just take in the sites. And it wasn't too expensive. I think we paid ~$100 for 9 zip lines? or something like that. It was a lot of fun. And they have a lot of really authentic looking restaurants on the way up.

  12. "The talk" with my parents consisted of my mom taking me to the store to buy condoms (a few years before I actually had sex) to show me that it wasn't weird to buy them yourself. I told my mom when I had sex for the first time. I didn't straight up tell my dad but he's figured out I'm not a virgin by now. Although, my mom also had the "are you gay?" talk with me when my cousin came out, which was years after I lost my virginity. Apparently sleeping with men didn't prevent her from thinking I was gay...
  13. I LOVED that mini-series. I thought it was adorable. Yes it was kinda kitchy but so cute!

  15. your soul. or your dignity. or both. but seriously it'll cost you as much money as you can/ want to put into it. $100's, $1000's, $10k's, however much you can afford while still keeping yourself alive on a diet of ramen noodles. The amount you pour in depends on how much and how often you want to jump.
