One of the great icons in Canadian sky diving history. Even if CSPA won't reinstate him, his achievements will go down as some of the most colourful and daring feats ever accomplished. My thoughts and vibes go out. Willy growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

looks the way my friends Sabre 135 looked when he dumped in a stand up. He said he wanted to know what would happen. I guess 3 broken ribs and a trashed canopy told him what would happen. Blue Skies, Willy growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

It is our first long weekend of the summer and will be a blast. Camping and shower facilities are new and excellent. Air locks are an invention by Brian Germain that he has incorporated into his canopies that allow air to enter through the nose of the canopy but won't allow the air to leave ( keeping the canopy pressurized and inflated) Ckeck out his web site for more info http://www.bigairsportz.com Blue Skies, Willy growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

Hi Mike, Just because I have air locks doesn't influence my decision to jump in winds that I know are turbulent. I will be one of the first to decide to stay on the ground. It is when I don't know there is turbulence that I appreciate having air locks. So yes I do feel safer with air locks than without. Willy growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

I agree completely. It's better to be on the ground wishing you where in the air than in the air wishing you where on the ground. I would definitely recommend a canopy with air locks ( Samuri, Lotus by BIg Air Sportz) PD also makes one ( Vengence). My Samuri handles turbulence better than anything I have tried. I still feel the bumps but It cuts right through. I'm not saying that it can't collapse, just that it was designed with this problem in mind.
