  1. Dates? Dunno exactly. I know it will be after Oct 15 and I have to be back before Nov 15 but I can be gone as little or as much of that time as I wish. The only reason I have to be back in Ms then is to guide Duck hunts... I have deer, bear, mountain lion, elk and just about what other tags you can buy. I have not picked the unit for my elk yet. I know I will be bringing my bow, rifle, and shotgun. I will PM you when I know more about the dates Oh yeah, How about a visit to twin Falls? I would love to jump off the bridge. what does that require? Sorry about being off topic. I would add a 40 cal to the list for quick protection from bear and lions...
  2. I hope to be ID sometime in late October to do some hunting for several weeks. I already have just about every tag you can get. Any chance I could get you to put me on a good deer or elk? I will most likely be in or around Poky most of the time but if you know of a good place on that side of the state I can drive over.

  5. try blackened tuna (cook med-rare) and serve over fettucini alfredo. drizzle a little alfredo sauce over the tuna!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also season some asparagus spears and wrap with bacon. you can grill these or cook in a pan. if you cook them in a pan try using some olive oil and butter for extra taste
  6. WOW!!!!! My joke got moved to SC????? I guess it hurts when it true... It was only a joke. I'm really not into getting into a political battle on the net. Just trying to get a smile...
  7. A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his. One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying. Her father listened and then asked, 'How is your friend Audrey doing?' She replied, 'Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus; college for her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over.' Her wise father a sked his daughter, 'Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA.' The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back, 'That's a crazy idea, and how would that be fair! I've worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!' The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, 'Welcome to the Republican party
  8. Thanks for the replies Ok so who has some gear that isnt in the classifieds that they want to sell me? I want a spectre 210 and PD reserve close to the same size and a container that will fit me and of course fit the canopies. 6'1" 200lbs average size. Send me a Pm if you have something!!!
  9. Take jujutsu!!! with that being said I carry a browning 9mm. not too big not too small. I can hide it if I want to and it packs enough punch to get the job done. For you I would say go gun shopping and pick up as many guns as you can find. figure out what you like. this gun will serve more than self defense so look for that you enjoy and in a proper caliber. Any body at a gun shop will be able to help you with that Also I would recomend buying a ruger mark II for practice. it is a .22 cal. They are fun to shoot and you can put 500 rounds through one for around 10 bucks you still need to shoot your other gun too. the 22 is just a cheap and fun way to practice
  10. I would suggest buying a storm 190 and ride it for a year or two and when you get read to sell it I should be ready for a 190 by then
  11. Principles that Obama supports on gun issues: Ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons. he wants to take your guns
  12. ASK the packer to pack it so that it opens slower. He does it for me all the time.
  13. well sorry then I just got it and thought it was funny. I guess it will just go away into never never land now and eat all the kids Its quite simplewith any basic video editing software. after you edit the clip and save it to your computer they will usually ask what quality you want to save it. it usually defaults to what ever is best for veiwing but you can pick the exact # of kb you want it saved in. I just pulled it into my editor and hit save and saved it as a 120kb file. maybe that tid bit of info will be more valuable than my original post.......
  14. this thing is huge Im glad it was dead
  15. I just finished AFF not that long ago and would have to say go that way. with AFF you start out learning free fall and you still get the canopy ride down. 16. Thanks for the replies Yall have give me some good insight for my search for gear. I have been looking on here for a while and it doesnt seem like there is much gear for someone my size. Are there other sites that have lots of used gear? (PM so it isnt advertising) I hope to get back to the DZ soon and be able to talk to our local gear guy and hopefully he will have what I want and need at a price I can afford.

I have started talking to my instructors about it but I dont get to go every weekend so I want to gain as much knowledge as possible but I will most likely or actually will go with whatever they say. 21. its pretty funny Its similar to what my instructor did to me It was on AFF 6 and i was doing a flip and landed on my back. when I turn over all I see was a finger in my face so I pulled not knowing why he gave me that sign. When I arrived on the ground he said "sorry man I didn't mean for you to pull I was just laughing at you"
  22. No Let's just say I had a slightly premature deployment and he was in the area, with a guilty face. The video is priceless. Luv ya Seb. Where can I see this video?
