No they should stay away. The only thing they need to do is quit putting up all the road blocks in front of the people that are trying to fix the problem. Yep, the quickest and most efficient way is for the people who take great risk to be able to reap great reward. Let's not forget that Pickens isn't doing this out of the goodness of his heart. He explicitly stated in an interview just the other day that he fully intends to make money with this endeavor. No way the government can do better. They'll just waste more of our tax dollars.

I think part of the problem is that this got moved from Bonfire. I would bet that SC has far fewer women visitors than Bonfire. We need a wider audience. To that end I would like to ask the mods to reconsider the appropriateness of this thread in Bonfire. It is not intended to be a thread for debate or controversy at all. As was previously mentioned, if you are a girl and/or like girls and/or guns, then c'mon in. If you want to debate guns, gun violence, 2nd Amendment, etc. there are other places to do that. Thanks for the consideration.

How would you feel about the government requiring vioceprint/handwriting records be obtained and maintained for all citizens just in case they decide to abuse their First Amendment rights at some future date? Dude - I've asked that type of question plenty of times and never gotten an answer - I think they go into vapor lock or something. That's because there is no answer that makes any kind of rational sense, so they just clam up. I could get into a longwinded rant about many people's "qualified" defense of the constitution and how it is a "living document", but that's not what this thread is about. Or is it....?

What is scary to me is that anyone would vote that the police should be allowed to search you or your home anytime for any reason. I got into a debate with my best friend the other night about this very issue and he was adamant that he has nothing to hide so bring on the searches. I asked if he was ok with getting pulled over randomly for a quick search. No probable cause, just random. He was ok with it.

Maybe you should rotate? Last was in Peru, so this one is local. There's something to be said for taking care of our own (though I am far from a bleeding heart). But figure out a way to help those that really need it, not the "rich poor" you mention. Good job, thanks for doing this sort of thing.

It's the rear sight that you use with the normal M16 front site (A frame) that is used M203 (additionally that picture shows the M203 side sight attached to the charging handle) Here is a pic from the other side with both of the M203 sights
