  4. Sorry ... I kinda thought the context made that one pretty clear it was the cactus type ... (but since you mention it, yes, there did seem to be a lot of the social commentary pin on buttons back then - favorite one I remember was "legalize freedom") ... and being a nonCalifornian, I can't really comment on Valley girls unless their stereotypes on TV are a realistic representation, in which case I'd have to say PLEASE tell me they are not in any way a product of hippies. To use a phrase I think I remember being attributed to them ... "gag me with a spoon" ... LOL!! What I'd like to know is why younger people seem to have the impression that being a hippie meant being a person with little to no personal hygiene, and for women to have not shaved legs, pits, whathaveyou. Where did this come from?? The conservatives spread these rumors to hurt the movement...
  5. That's not a geometry problem.. That's an anatomical conundrum!!! I think he meant you could hold one of ours... Don't start being shy now...
  6. Ooooh!! Hairy, Easy (French) and Like Beer(Canadian). Two out a three aint bad. I am NOT hairy (laser hair-removal), I am NOT easy, and I'm not really a fan of bear. But I'm charming and sweet Oh, and I can finish even the hardest killer sudoku!!! That's got to count for something!! Bears scare me too. OMG That's actually quite funny!!! But if you did mean beer? Then you are a blasphemer and need to turn in your jump license immediately.

  8. the laziness comes from not cleaning up... we don't have the aim and control you might think we do...
  9. I've always thought it was poorly designed also...
  10. Although I'm pretty sure that unlike the A card you don't have your B license until you have received a number from USPA?
  11. I'd say a cougar has to be at least 35 and looking for men around 15 years younger... So no a 28 y/o would not be a cougar in my mind... nor is cougar an insult.
  12. I drive past a KFC 4-6 times a day and it has been packed and overflowing everyday...
  13. I found that parts for my motorcycle were taking money away from jumping...
  14. 9 in a day (packing myself) is my record. But that was pretty much all that was possible because I was making every other load (back in Utah). Now that I get to the ground quicker and pack faster I could probably squeeze in a couple more (if the next load was a fuel stop) if I was at a faster DZ again. 13 in a weekend should be no problem with even a little focus.
  15. Psst....nately...I think there was an attachment error... Only a portion of that pic showed up. You need to find the other half it .... Now now, be nice.. These boys have been good enough to show off their man-meat for our viewing pleasure.. Nobody was making comments like that in the boobie thread.. I think it's a lovely specimen
  16. They were, but still would have been better uncovered
  17. What capabilities are you referring to that aren't also available to a windows machine?
  18. Thats not even NSFW... if us guys can't produce then how do we expect a decent bare rack thread?
  19. I LOVE City of Angels... I'll admit I even teared up at the end. It's been years since I've seen it.

+1 ~ other than that...it's great! It was free back when they were trying to get there name out. That was a long time ago and had always said there would be fees later on. I don't use it much because I don't have a need for it. I don't have a land line either.
  22. BS, there is an installer with BT3 to install it to your HDD. I have it on an extra partition on my laptop with xp. (except now I upgraded to bt4) and keep another copy on my thumbdrive. Its nice to just boot into it without finding the thumbdrive and loading it that way. Its also nice because I need the IPWRAW drivers for my card to inject... and I like having persistant changes too. Not to mention a spare, hidden partition to hide my porn on because Qatar customs DOES CHECK! How do you consider it a hidden partition? Do you use grub as your bootloader? I can make an extra ext3 partition and tell any linux distro not to mount it on boot... *hypothetical* I'm only running windows on the HDD that partition really is hidden (as I'm sure you know windows refuses to recognize anything but FAT and NTFS) Then with any linux distro on a USB drive... boot computer (no boot loader so only loads windows) no porn... plug in usb drive (after computer is booted), no porn on USB either. The partition remains hidden unless I boot the USB. I've been through Qatar twice, but not a single person on my plane was searched either time. I didn't say it couldn't be installed on the HDD. But it is NOT meant to be a full time OS. My USB statement might have over generalized (I have persistent changes and extra storage on my USB also) It is a distribution designed for penetration testing by security experts, not for every day use by average users. That was my point. Also BT3 doesn't run perfectly on the Mini 9, but Ubuntu 9.04 does. As for the OP your last statement about IM software, Pidgin is included by default and will log you in to (almost) any IM network. However if you want to use video chat aMSN is a great linux replica for that feature.
