  11. Hey Markus, why not step on a 119 crossfire II? I'm sure it's a big difference in handling and performance. And then you're at about the best load for performance on the crossfire II. From there on you have a lot more benefit with the crossbrace canopies. just my $0.02 - and the way I'm doing it ;-)
  12. ... 1500 1000 500 and it's meters ;-) for any kind of jump.
  13. e.g. this one? http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/m8/503--mud-flap-altimeter-mount.html I like the one Frank (lookma) makes - just to show there are more ...
  14. Hey doc, there's a lot of info out there just search and have a mind of your own... ;-) e.g. http://www.bpa.org.uk/assets/Training/Canopy-handling/Getting-the-Most-out-of-Your-Canopy.pdf e.g. http://www.bpa.org.uk/assets/Training/Canopy-handling/ The list of one of the moderators here... http://www.dropzone.com/safety/Canopy_Control/Downsizing_Checklist_47.html For me it's not the 270 / 450 / 630 / ... thing exept you're just swooping and going up over 2.x/1 of a wingload. The calm way of crosswind / downwind / save-braked-low-turn / landing out everywhere / ... are the key factor for me. There are a lot of wannabe "swoopers" doing 450 out there who shit their pants when they have to land out... "just my 2 cent"
  15. Wuuuuhuuu, that looks steep ;-) Great news!
  16. http://www.news10.com/story/23269760/small-plane-crashes-in-greenfield ... Bill Booth, the pilot, says he's lucky to have walked away. "It was pretty violent, but only a second and half and it was over," he said. The only signs that show Booth was involved in the plane crash are the bandages wrapped around his hand and finger. He was flying this single engine lake amphibian when he had to make an emergency landing in this field. "Five minutes after leaving airport I noticed strange indications on engine," he said. ...
  17. ... and he's flying an Katana 97 ft² and is a senior rigger ;-)
  18. Hey Susanne, welcome back in the sky ;-) Vielen Dank auch an die Wilden Kerle aus Schw'ofen ;-)
