  3. Hey, can anybody check whether plus the 64-bit driver interface is right. Do they se a 32-bit hardware and a 64-bit Hardware? Or Just the software driver is needed? Wher can I find the correct software driver for 64-bit? I'm running the "blue" jump-track software with the http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm driver but the usb-track interface is not available in jumptrack. Although the windows device-manager show it as "USB Serial Port". Any advice? holie

  5. ... European Stuff ;-) ... As a result of an investigation on some maintenance organisations, EASA was made aware that safety belts and torso restraint systems manufactured by authorised (E)TSO approval holders, have been maintained or repaired by maintenance organisations without holding approved maintenance data. EC Regulation 145.A.45 requires that (E)TSO approved parts and appliances can be maintained or repaired only if approved maintenance data provided by the (E)TSO approval holder are used, pending the loss of validity of the (E)TSO approval and installation onto the aircraft. ... If it helps ;-)

  7. Welcome to the real world . Not everybody will agree - but everything they would have told you at the ground, you would have forgotten in the door It's nice to be prepared. But the TM did his Job in the plane you were prepared and in good hands with that TM. Go for it! As you asked here shows you're head up and you will ask your instructors if neccesary. Have fun. PS: As we say in german "It will not be eaten as hot as it is cooked"
  8. ... I have to correct myself! after airtwardos post I had reviewed the first video. It is both the Mountain run side ... the monutain rack railway on the otherside of the mountain in the first vid at 1:04 is in the second vid at 0:03 In airtwardos vid you also can see a canopy in the mountain run at 0:15 on the bottom right corner. That one was sure not a "freefall" jumprun and they had to clear an pull or wait for the second run for the freefallers over the valley
  9. ... almost BUT the montain run is on the otherside of the valey
  10. ... think about it as it is www.mountaingravity.ch .:. Swoop the Mountain .:. Just dumb asses! The location is in the swiss alps ;-) Just have to say: "You have to know what you do! Don't swich your brain off when you're in a mountain area." Plan your Jump and Jump your Plan! Look out before jumping! The light don't tell you to jump! It tells you it might be the time - It's your decision! Look out an decide... Nice info from the Jottis http://youtu.be/YD2aICOI8Uo Great boogie! Great People! Great Time! ;-)
  11. We should keep going "on the subject" and the definition from the Stu article was: "... When subjected to positive forces along the z-axis, blood is pulled from the head to the lower extremities. In negative G situations, blood is directed toward the head. ..." Simple that ;-) even if it would also not be my definition ;-)
  12. ... why don't ask the owner?
  13. It depends! Don't ask us - ask a local canopy coach how knows his work and more important who knows him well. I did it ;-) with a well care taking canopy coach ;-)

  22. Sorta: It means little tree. 'Baum' means wood or tree & 'chen' is the diminutive; or so I was told by my grandmother many, many moons ago. About the only other German that I know is: 'Ein bier, bitte' and 'Kommen sie hier, mien frau.' I probably have those spelled wrong but I can say them correctly. Where in the H*** is Abedy when we need him. JerryBaumchen You don't need him there are enough germans around here. But some do read and learn more as write and We would understand you well and you would get your beer and your girl 'Ein bier, bitte' - 'one beer please' 'Kommen sie hier, mien frau.' better 'Kommen Sie hier her, meine Frau' - 'come over here, my women' You are completely right the Baum is a tree and chen is diminutive. But as german is shitty it would be 'Bäumchen'. Don't know if your browser will show the right letter it has to be the 'ae' -> ä edited for spelling
  23. Hey, is that your actual skill? Jumps 130 In sport 1 years then do a lot of jumping and keep your eyes open and your mind free of distraction. As long as you have to keep any of your attention on yourself to be relaxed you don't have much resources to get the things on the otherside. Do you have a teach skill in other sports or business? this will come through more and more while you practise your own flying skills. so, work on, it will build up automaticly. :-D
