Bloody good night! :) Have to say how much I enjoyed the doo. Not sure that I'm feeling my best today, but hey. Having just got back from Elsinore on Monday, myself and a whole buch of us Brits were depressed and on a downer. Last night really cheered me up. It was lovely to see so many people from our DZ (Hinton) and some of the people that were also out in Elsinore/Perris (Sibson croud). Hope everyone enjoyed themselfves as much as I did. Steve really should be employed as a bouncer. He had me in stitches . . . . . 'Excuse me sir, your not wearing a tie, I'm affraid that you can't come in'. YES . . My Legend is no longer a myth. I finally (after 6 months) got my Atom Legend today and it's wicked. I'm so happy. Have fun

Thats what I'd do, If I did a solo. That or laff at myself trying to sit. A frind of mine likes to fall out like a rag doo. He just looosed any tension in all his muscles and tumbles. I'e not tried it myslef.

In a nutshell. My horse. I have ridden for 18 years. It's a big part of my life gone. It was not a concious decision. In the last 3 to 4 years I've had nothing but bad luck with horses. Its impossible to compete at the level I wanted to compete at, have a fultime job a social life and skydive. (miss it :( ) Ive also given up my posetive bank account.

Nearly home time (15 mins). Then its the weekend. The AGM should be a laff. Thing is, most skydivers must be bored when they are not jumping (or partying). Unless, they are lucky enough to have a megga interesting job!

I jumped with just a pair of sorz three times recently (no helmet). By 6k, I could not see fukkery. Everyone else on the jump(s) were funny coloured blobs. It seems with a helmet on aswell it stops the air getting in.

I was lucky enough to jump a Sabre2 150 about 10 times recently (thenks Michael). Its a totaly different canopy form the old Sabre. Its is apparently cut differently, flatter, to give it more glide. I have to say that I really liked it. The openings were lovely and the landings superb. It had a very responsive flare (poped me back up the first time). I'm just hoping I like my Electra 150 as much when I finally get to jump it.

Yes, but don't become dependable on it. You might forget to turn it on! I bought one a few weeks back. I think when you start jumping with larger groups of people its a fab idea. Its so easy to get carried away with the moment. I also had a couple of bad dreams about not being able to read my alti! Just remember to continue using your normal alti.

Hey, It's hard when things build up and get to you. Your not on ya own though. I just got back from Elsinore on Monday. I am so depressed. I've come home to a boring porley paid job, bad weather, huge credit card bills, a huge overdraft and a brand new rig to pay for. (OK, so I got my new rig - cool :) ) I can't efford to jump and I just wish I was still at Elsinore cos I love it there so much. Booo hoooo

Have to agree. It is easy to get carried away. There is no rush for anything. Big ways can be dangerous if you dont know how to handle them. I wont do one unless I'm with people I know & trust as good skydivers. The AGM! Is that gonna be a riot?

So was I! Some of the photos are so funny. I think Gia has blond cury hair. Hi Gia. Its Jo, you may not remember me. I left Elsinore last Sunday. Did anyone see Tia (one of the Brits), he had passed out on one of the tables and had about 30 odd garlands around his neck!! (You could only see the top of his shaved head). LOL NOt sure what happened to my grass skirt!

You can do a sit fly solo when you have an A licence. you juts have to have good FFF kit.
