Hummmm - not sure I'd be that keen at putting my pic up here. But, as you say, it is good to put a face to a name!
  6. My year started off slowley, but got better and better . . . . . . . Best Aspects: Canopy control weekend. An airplane emergency was rigged. Wow, fantastic training. Were we out that door fast or what! Scrambles. I found out just how much there is to learn when you start jumping with more people. Malfunction. This opened my eyes to reality. Glad it happened. Smaller canopy (non hire kit). Now I can start to have fun and learn more about canopy control. Oh and I've met some fab people and had some great laughs. Plan: To jump shit loads more next year, learn as much as possible and have lots of fun. But, hey, this year is not over yet. Hopefully it will end with a blast in Elsinore.
  7. Quite handy for blokes that suffer from premature edjaculation!
  8. Nar - freefall is when we are at our MOST vunrable. My full face can be very handy! . . . . . . . but with the right person???? :)
  9. May be too late, but its worth a try. Only 2 nights?? Prob be room. There are about 20 of us (spread over 3 weeks) most of us are staying in the bunkhouse and reserved a space months ago!
  10. Got 5 flat fly jumps in on it - no worries. Can reach the steering toggles east peasy. It has elastic cord on the leg straps already. Which is cool. Ill get someone to check me out thoraghly before I try sit, if my coach says no, I wont do it! Cheers for advice. :)
  11. I'm going from 19th Dec - 5th Jan. The weather is lovely. Warm during the day, but very chilly at night (so you will need a warm fleece or sommit). See yas there.
  12. Bird!!!! Well I never........ Actually, Im sure that female 'Skydivers' are far less likely to mind this description than other girls! LOL
  13. Wanted some excitement in my life. Saw a tandem skydive vidio and thought YES - THAT is what I wanna do. So . . . . Did a level 1 AFF, and that was it, had to carry on. Went to the US to do the AFF course. The best thing I've ever done! :) Do miss eventing tho :(
  14. Cool. . . . Why do you sign your name twice??
  15. Heeeee heeee Just about grown back now thanks. You would never know!
  16. Beer related injuries? NAR, they just don't happen!
  17. I've just picked up a rig that I'm going to be borrowing until January sometime. The leg straps are a little loose (its a bloes rig), even on tightest. To make it fit well, I have to put shorts on over my jumpsuit and a jumper under. I know Im gonna be roasting in America!! Boy! Once done some flat fly jumps on rig, I wanted to try sit fly. A friend told me that the leg straps tend to loosen a bit on a sit fly jump!!!!! Is this right? Does it depend on the harnes (how old etc)? I dont want a chest strap in my mouth. And I'd prefer to be able to reach steering toggles. OMG!
  18. Errrrr, I know who she is!
