  1. I hate that jar what a bright idea I had when already two sheets to take a nice swig from the jar. Maybe I wasn't quite two sheets yet, but it wasn't a good idea. I don't know what you all are complaining about, I had a nice big swig from the jar and it was pretty smooth. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  4. Here's a few options. Mac: iMovie comes with it and is free. It's a good software program to start with if just getting into editing. FinalCut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro are expensive but allow for more advanced features and options. PC: Windows Movie Maker comes with the OS. It's free but not very good in my opinion. Adobe Premiere Elements is a good intro level editor and not too expensive. Some more advanced options out there are Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere Pro. It's not a complete list. There's a lot of considerations to think about when purchasing an editing package but that should get you started. Search the forums for threads discussing the different software packages to get some idea of what else to consider. My personal advice is if you haven't done much editing, start with a simple program and get a feel for it first. Then go to a more advanced system so you wont' feel overwhelmed. I'm sure there are others here with better advice so listen to them as well. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  6. At first I thought that could be a possibility, but once they started turning to brass, I knew it wasn't. So here I am, the proud new owner of some big brass balls. They should help with your fallrate. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  7. If it wasn't a mistake, then good for them. I guess it worked.
  8. Why? You just paid more attention to their ad than you ever have before. Maybe some people have, but to be honest I haven't even read the ad. I saw Mirage printed upside down and that was about it. Didn't even read the copy. Coming from a print & publishing background I guess I'm just a bit more sensitive to mistakes like this. Trust me in the print world this is a big getting-your-ass-chewed-out mistake. But hey, if the customers who paid for the ad and the printing don't care then then oh well. 9. I"ve got the one with the upside down back cover. It looks to me like a screw up with the stepping of the cover during the pre-press stage. (Damm interns) I'll bet it was discovered somewhere in the middle of the run and they had to stop and make new plates for everything. Now I'm curious as to which printer USPA uses. If I was Mirage and USPA I'd be pitching a fit at the careless mistake and demanding some money back. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  10. Yes. With avatars. Doesn't work too well for some people who change their avatars often. Hmmmm, that gives me an idea. What if there was just a spot for a sticker that the person could printout their latest avatar? Different inks & label brands could be tested to find the one that will stick until peeled off and leave no residue. Damm now the printing scientist in me wants to go play.

  18. Nothing like giving us a challenge. We'll have to have Hans whip up one of his "special concoction" pies for the occasion. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  19. I learned one very important lesson from the SCR ceremony. Large amounts of beer applied to sunburn skin hurts like hell. Aside from the burnt flesh and scorching heat, I had a great time. I attended my first boogie outside my home DZ, got my SCR and SCS, had my first jump out of a Casa, became a Rodriguez Brother (Locos Zapatos Rodriguez), did my first Horny Gorilla with awesome results, met tons of new people, and had great jumps. I don't think I could have asked for more. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  20. I agree that Marmot makes great clothing, however they're typically a bit more heavy than others. If weight doesn't bother you, they're a good choice. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
