it will take awhile before we know what happened. something (out of many possible) went wrong on the second most critical stage of the mission. possibly a wrong angle of entrance, speed, or heat shields not working. speaking on behalf of the people of israel, who also have a personal angle on this mission, we are all sad and still praying here. i have about 30 jumps on mine and so far i'm very happy with it. its my first canopy, and i feel i can learn how to fly it safely, and still have fun with it. had a few off heading openings (some with closed end cells) but i mostly blame it on my packing (still testing things). only downside i can think of, is that its a bit more expensive. but.... you only live once O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

does anybody know if there is a cable/converter that will allow me to connect a standard video output (yellow RCA connector) to an old RF tv input ? my sister got a DVD player and she has an old tv with the old rf antenna input. i'm sure there is something like that but i've been searching in stores like radioshack and so far all i got were puzzled looks and yeah, i know its a skydiving site... but if boobies are ok here, then so is my video cable !! you did. now you are ok to jump alone and work on things you have to get better at. later on, when you feel better about the way you fly you'll do the rw training and go to the next step. there are always "next steps" to go t O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

work slowlty , or as fast as your budget allows you. i got an alti first, then goggles , then gear and helmet. mine is a hawkeye,. not that cheap, but i plan on camera flying later on , and the hawkeye is cool. like everything else, look around and see if you can try some on before you order anything, we all have different heads "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

take your time and in your next few solo's work on your on. sometimes the fact you have another person (jm) with you, makes you nervous, and you tense up. i had the same problem when i went with mordi on a FF jump to work on my sitfly. i started turning and could hardly stay in my sit. right after the coached jump. everything was fine again. i'm pretty sure you'll do ok on your solos , and a spin is something you can see for yourself (unlike movement forward or backwards.) just remember the basics (pull, pull high enough, pull stable ) next time, look me up before you jump and not after, and i'll try to put you in a good mood... please note that i post this after 4 straight shots of tequila (Mariachi Gold, if you must know) and 3 beers. so ,,, well , you know...
