I personally lend my efforts to the repopulation of the SPAM herds. These extremely intelligent critters use to roam vast portions of the North American continent until uncontrolled canning devastated thier numbers. I think what Gary is getting at is that before they know that an idea is just a rehash of an old idea they want to make the world believe that they have given "us" something we should all be thankful for. It might be an issue that is easier to see when you have been around for more than just a decade (or less). Some of us have been around to help develop things that are commonplace in the sport but you may not know our names or what we did. Some people find satisfaction in just giving and not promoting. I don't think that Gary would bash true innovation, just innovation that has been repackaged and sold as something new to help some people build thier own self esteem. I gotta agree. Now if I were applying to be a chaperone or coach where I might be required to be alone with other peoples children it might be one thing. But to accompany my child on a trip where everyone already knows me (trust me, all my kids friends parents KNOW me ) then things are getting screwed to the max. It absurd that on top of all the other fees (beyond taxes) that we have to pay for our kids to attend public schools that I would have to pay for my own background check just to attend a school event with them. What next, maybe I should have to have one done just to go to their ball games and track events, how about their band concerts, after all I am in close proximity to the children in those enviroments also... Maybe some of you have noticed that I have not been posting a lot lately. It's not that I'm living in a cave butr more to what HH said in the beginning of this post. While I would never be catagorized as a wallflower it has gotten to be to much to rifle through all the junk to find something that I was interested in knowing about my friends and aquaintances. If there is a skydiving specific issue I want to talk abouit I know which forum to go to. If I want to spend time with my friends that a far away while in the comfort of my home I go to Bonfire. While I do enjoy a little good porn now and again I also know where to go and it is not in Bonfire. Nuff from me, oh yeah, and my big 50 is just around the corner if anyone is interested. Hey Mike, That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title, I remember watching the canopy slide back over the top of the RV as Lance slid down the other side. When we walked around you could see the feet marks in the side of the RV, I wanted to laugh so bad but was mad at the same time. I am going to bet that until they determine if he is going to college or not that they will continue to withhold on you. Get a lawyer (I hate saying that) and confirm the laws in the state that the judgement occurred in. Some places require you to pay until they reach 25 I think, as long as they are full time students. And yeah, it's always best to never let the state get involved with making your payments. In Illinois now it is mandatory to make our payments to the courts and then the state distributes it to the primary caretaker. I got a call from her this evening when she got back to her mom's from basketball practice. She wanted to make sure I knew her first game of the season is tomorrow night. I told I wouldn't miss it and knew already where and when cause I surf the net so well. OK, Someone said that I should have the award presented to me by our regional director. I've never really been a big fan of "getting" an award, I'm bashful you know.
