Last Sunday we lost a dear friend after losing a long battle with a terrible disease. Yesterday we all said good bye... Jennifer Ann Zwicke LaVigne Martin Death Notice Martin, Jennifer Ann (Nee Zwicke) Age 53, of Milwaukee, left our world Sunday, July 29, 2012, to join her son, Alex LaVigne and her brother, Russell Zwicke, in Eternal peace. She is lovingly survived by her sons, Andrew (Danielle) LaVigne and Daniel (Andrea )LaVigne; her sons' father G. Michael LaVigne; her dear parents, Ernest and Judith Zwicke; her brother, Ernest (Teresa) Zwicke, Jr. and her sister, Janet (Eric) Parker. She is further survived by her loving nephews and nieces: Gary (Kellie) Zwicke and family, David (Tiffany) Zwicke and family, Angela (Andrew) Van Sistine and Dustin Parker. Her zest for life and fun spirit will be especially missed by all, family and friends alike. Her creative talents included designing and manufacturing Zute Sute Skydiving Jumpsuits, various products for Jonco Industries and handbags and accessories for Harley-Davidson. She was a flight attendant for Ryan International Airlines. Memorial gathering Friday August 3, 2012, at NATIVITY OF THE LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH (3672 E. Plankinton Ave., Cudahy), from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM with at Memorial Mass at 11 AM. Well it is only 25 minutes from home now, and I do have great friends there, as well as a couple of other well known DZ's in the area. The cops were totally out of line using an assault squad to invade his home and arrest him. Chaek out the videos on it. However I do believe the the city was within it's rights to charge him. He was running Bible study that was drawing a large number of people on a regular basis,in a residential area. This was causing parking and and other issues for the rest of the residents of the neighborhood. That is why there are zoning laws, to insure that there are proper facilities to accomodate that type of influx of people to an area. Not to say that some of those laws aren't getting to be ridiculous at times... This post reminds me of why I don't hang out here much anymore. Somebody posts something kind of cool and it turns into a flame war of who's the smartest hanging dick on the face of the earth... If you have to ask yourself that hard you can guess what my answer is. After 27 years I just took a couple of years off, to spend more time with my kids before they start their own life's. I got back in the air recently and never felt better, some apprehension, sure, you'd be a fool to not have some. Fact is, the answer is in your soul and only you can find that... Turtle though I appreciate your setiments I feel that there is nothing that I have done that deserves it. I do however feel that there are a great many that do from that time period that never received it. I try not to post in here much but that comment just got my ire up. They say that winners write the history, which is true, they do. I feel that in the past 20 years the "liberals" have come to see themselves as the winners. Now they wish to rewrite some history to justify their actions from a time period some time ago.In my mind a greater travesty would be to now pretend the way soldiers were treated then never happened, then the actual treatment itself. To Deltron8 - who was spit on, I was. Now I was a lucky guy and still in military college when we left Viet Nam. We did not leave southeast Asia until 1975 and through the end of the 70's many of today's "leaders" did treat military members that way, if not personally then through their political posturings . I saw many of my friends spit on and called terrible names in the 70's. If you were not there then you really have no basis in fact to make the statements that you are making. If you think I am lying then feel free to call me out, but do not be surprised at how that could possibly end. What was your professor doing during that time, and if you think that those whose classes you take do not find readings to support their position and theirs alone then you are just plain naive. I lived then as did some of the others that you seem to think are all out liars. Grow up and listen to more then one side of the story, I have no reason to lie to you or anyone else.
