When I first started posting on the forums, I frequented the Speakers Corner- I love to debate. But I came to a stunning realization- you cannot convincingly argue your point on a computer chat forum. I know, I know- most people realized this long ago. But you can't add emphasis, and most of all, you can't use emotion to argue your point. It may seem that you are as you write it, but to people who are reading it (in a monotone voice)- they don't hear it the way you want it said. So anyway, I decided about a month or so ago, that I would no longer go into Speakers Corner. And I finally passed the 200 mark- 203 New Threads, and 6418 New Posts. And damn, I feel great. So, for those of you that don't go in the SC- what are your numbers up to? Just curious....... I'm sure it wasn't considered an actual BASE jump- but I was wondering if anyone had video of dirtbike rider Travis Pastrana's Grand Canyon jump? I know it was done as a promo for a company, but for the life of me, I don't remember who. I checked out Skydivingmovies.com, but could not find the video. Any help is appreciated. Ok, I was going to post a picture of what appears to be an incredible BASE building (but that I guess would be a no no). All I can say, is that I was watching a show about Tennis, and they were showing Andre Agassi (and another guy) playing tennis on a court that is about 800-900 feet in the air. It's built onto a hotel. It looks like a friggin incredible BASE site. Anyone know about this building, or if anyone has jumped it? If I can post a pic (which I'm sure I can't) let me know. Hey everyone. For anyone who cares, I won't be online for a week (maybe 2). I'm getting rid of my internet provider (way too expensive). I'm cancelling them today, and I'll hopefully be back on in about a week or two. Trying to figure out if I should use DSL or just go with normal Dial up. Either way, I'll be saving $20-$30 a month. 5 ft- I was camping with the family, walking back from the bathroom, when I heard a real loud crack, felt the ground move, turned around and saw a black spot on the ground smoking. It was cool as hell!!!!! Ok, get your minds out of the gutter. I know what you were all thinking Ok, I think my son is just the cutest damn thing out there. He's always gotten short haircuts, but today, I finally talked the wife into letting me give him a real short haircut. #1 and #2 were the start of it all- I personally think he looks good with the mohawk. #3 is all the way gone. After finishing it up, my wife actually said we should have left the mohawk. Either way, I think he looks great. Is it just because I'm his Dad?????

Ill agree to a point with Aggiedave on this- but throw in the 2 yellow pannels from D and I'd like it alot better. Just dont use all yellow trim. Use the white. I am glad to see that the US is not the only scource of frivilous and stupid lawsuits. I think this one takes the cake. This far surpasses that woman that sued Mc D's over spilling hot coffee on her crotch....
