For starters, I am not asking for me to go jump anything. I am just curious. As I was driving from my home in Southern Jersey, up to the Poconos this past weekend, I saw quite a few "A's" that looked pretty jumpable. It got me to wondering- what are the criteria to make it jumpable? Such as- what's the minimum hieght? And short of getting right up to it, is there any way of judging hieght of an "A" from a distance? What shapes would make it unjumpable? The other reason I ask, I like doing photography and video. So if there was anyone from my area that was jumping any of these, and wanted some extra photos or video, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. Thanks for any info. Just went and picked this up yesterday. Had an '03 Durango (Black- I'll never own a Black car again) and turned over the lease into a 2005. They bought out my last 5 payments and the early term fee on the old lease (which was cool). I even got them to comp me $300 off my down payment (I had just put brand new tires on the '03). I need to get a screen capture off of the movie Office Space. I have the scene paused where I want it, but I cant seem to find a way to save the picture on the screen. There is a print button (but my printer is out of ink) so I need to save it and bring it to a friends house to print out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I figure I'll chime in, being that I work at Costco. Someone said before- it's a membership warehouse, so you have to stop to have your reciept checked. I used to check reciepts a few years back, and I'll tell you what- I was damn good at it. The most catches I had in one day was 16. Now thats not things that werent paid for. It went both ways. Stuff that wasnt rung up, and stuff that was charged to the member twice. When someone checks your reciept, they are not checking every single item. They look for the obvious stuff: big price items, the stuff thats underneath the cart. And for the record, they are not checking you- they are checking the accuracy of the cashier. I would say 90% of the time, it is a cashier mistake we catch at the door. I live in Central New Jersey- and I have found the first radio station in my area playing continuos Christmas Music. They apparently started on November 1st, and will play nothing else until after Christmas. The station is 96.1. I've heard that there are other station doing it, but haven't found any yet. So are there other places across the counrty where radio stations are doing the same thing? Well, one part of my decorations has not been put up for 3 years. I have a split level house, and I want to get lights up on the highest peak, but I'm not that great at roof walking (especially that close to the edge) and I can't find anyone that has a ladder tall enough. But I'll post pictures for you when it's all done. I'll start putting up my Christmas decorations probably this week. Mostly the inside and outside lights. Then in the next 2 weeks, I'll strat putting up the bigger stuff. But none of it gets lit up till Thanksgiving night. It was something of a tradition with our Thanksgivings- we would go up to my Uncle's house, and then when we got home, our local Hardware store would be all lit up. So I have carried the tradition to my house. The other reason I start so early- I have no time. So it's a little bit here, and a little there. Whenever I get a spare second. But lighting up before Thanksgiving, thats just wrong. Since I don't know anything about rigs (except for what I've read and seen here) I'm confused as to which rigs are which. My guess-the 4 rigs to the left are BASE rigs, and the 3 to the right are skydiving rigs. Am I right? How do you know any children ever saw that display? Seems possible that that display could be set up where no children see it. Maybe just set up as a joke at a hunting lodge out in the woods somewhere....so many possibilities..... I agree, if it is out in someone's front yard, in a family nieghborhood- then it's in pretty poor taste. But we can't tell from that picture where it is- I see 2 buildings in the backround- so it could be in someones yard in thier nieghborhood- or those could be cabins at a hunting lodge. Who knows. Ok, this description may be a little vague, but here goes. I am about 95% positive that it was a Billy Joel song- came out (my guess) about 10-15 years ago. All I remember was part of the video where there's a guy getting ready to jump off of a bridge (suicide) and I thought I remembered Billy Joel standing on the deck of the bridge trying to get him to come back down. I guess I'll be the first Yankee fan to jump into this thread- there's always next year. It sucks that they lost (but Johnson had a great night pitching lastnight).
