I've been a Tito fan since Ortiz/Shamrock 1 (thats when I started watching UFC again). So my vote is for Tito. Although, I think this fight could easily go either way. I don't agree with getting a vasectomy at the age of 22. I think it's too early in life to make that decision- however, I don't know you. So I'll give you advice on what I think might convince a doctor to do the surgery. Some sound advice- do not- I repeat, do not tell the doctor "If you don't do the surgery for me, I'll go find someone else who will." He will absolutley tell you to have a nice day- because he's not going to do the surgery. Instead, just tell him about your life- you're a Skydiver/BASE jumper. Tell him you understand the inherint (sp) risk in participating in this sport, and you wouldn't want to have a child fatherless beause of an accident related to the sport. Also explain that you have wanted this surgery for over 6 years. Explain all the points about not liking/wanting kids. You need to convince this doctor, that a vasectomy for a 22 year old man is the best choice. Telling the doctor that you froze some sperm could work for or against you. On one hand, he may see it as you covering all the bases, and being responsible if you decide later in life to have kids. On the other hand, he may see you freezing your sperm as you not being 100% sure that you don't want to have kids. So I'd be careful using that in your argument. Reality- I think you will have a hard time finding a doctor to do the surgery. But good luck to you. Ok, so I finally bowed down and bought an IPOD (30GB Video/Music). I only have 1207 songs at 7.19GB- which leaves alot of empty space. So I decided to throw a few video files onto it. My problem is, I have 4 UFC videos that it states are not supported and cannot be played (even though they loaded into Itunes). I also tried to put Jeb's "A Year in the Life" onto ITunes, but when I try it says "The file cannot be imported because it does not appear to be a valid exported file." I'mnot computer illiterate, but I am stumped on this one. Anyone have any ideas? And what files will be supported by the IPOD? Thanks for the help. I was just checking out Jenkinsons Boardwalk Web Page, to see when they were going to have their Extreme Sports show- and I see it's August 10-11. I was looking forward to seeing the Freestyle Motocross, but they also list that skydiving will be part of the show. Anyone have any info as to who is jumping, and what they are going to be doing? Yes, I clicked the link, the page started loading, and then all hell broke loose. My Spytrap software pops up, and tells me that changes are being made to my computer (startup and configuration files being changed) so I denied all the changes. That message popped up three times. My virus software popped up and told me a virus was detected and removed (dont remember the exact name but it was a "backdoor" virus. After going through all that, I finally did a system restore to the beginning of July. It was a real pain in the ass. Whatever you think of the him- it is still amazing to see someone able to push the envelope when it comes to endurance and mind control. Most people would have niether the endurance capabality to do his stunts, or the mind control to not go nuts. Just try to imagine living in a water bubble for a day- most people would probably freak out. He lasted, what- nine days? Absolutley amazing. My second son is due to be born in a few days, and the theme for the nursery is aircraft. I am searching the web for aircraft boneyards in NJ but am having no luck finding any. Thats a pretty sweet design. And I like how you went with the negative effect rather than doing the tribal in black. I used to tattoo (a few years back) the only way you will get an accurate price is to bring it to the shop and ask the artist. Every artist is different, and rates can vary widely. Before you go out for the price, do the research and find an artist that is exceptional with black and gray shading. It will make all the world of difference. I just dont know at this point. Royce was an incredible fighter. But I havent seen him fight in years. So who knows how good a fighter he is now. He could have been training and fighting all these years, and he could be 100 times better than he was when UFC first came out. Or he could be old and washed up. To answer that question, I held it till this morniong The saga continues- I wake up early this morning and run to the Depot to get the fittings. Get home, hook everything up, turn the water on, start checking for leaks- yeah, it leaks. From 2 spots- the main cutoff valve to the entire house, and the cutoff valve for the feed into the hot water heater. My life just keeps getting better. So now I have to call out a plumber to come in, and replace the two valves- I'm figuring, what- $300?????? Damn, could this shit happen at a worse time!!!!! I appreciate the reply- this was kind of the info I was looking for (among other stuff) AM/FM was pointed out before. I figured on landing area and accesibility. But never thought of repeater tower (dont even know what that is, but Ill look it up) down/up wind sides, platforms. I guess I was just looking for general +'s that would make it jumpable. So, my wife and I decided not to exchange gifts this year (which sucks because those are the best gifts either of us get). But, the bathroom remodel went about $1000 over what we planned (and still isn't done yet) and we decided to go to the Poconos for 2 days- so we figured it best that we just not buy for each other. Then it happened. I said (since my wife really seemed bummed about not exchanging)-"Why dont we wait till after Christmas, and we'll buy something nice for the house." Damn was that a jinx. So yesterday, I'm doing laundry, and I'm on the third load- I get detergant on my finger, so I go to rinse it off in the washer, and I thik to myself "Damn that waters cold." Check that its set for warm- it is. Yes thats right- the hot water heater fried. The electrical went in it. But thank god the tank didnt break and leak all over the place. So I call around today- and Lowe's has one $178 for a 6 year warranty- not bad I think. Have to work till 7:3- so Ill get it after work. Pick it up, get home, open the box- no fittings on the top of the tank. Run down to Home Depot while my brother in law empties the tank and disconnects everything. Buy a "Electrical Hot Water Heater Install Kit" which includes 2 supply lines and the fittings I ned. (It's now 10 pm and Home Depot is closing) Get hone, put the new HW Heater where it belongs- go to run the supply lines- and the friggin fittings that were included dont thread onto the supply lines in the kit. So now I have no running water in my house. So now I have to get up early tomorrow, run to Home Depot to get the right fittings, and get the shit hooked up so I can take a shower before I have to be to work (at 2 pm) Merry Christmas to me!!!!!! Sorry that was kind of long, but I just had to rant. I hold no hard feelings for you (as a matter of fact, when I see your responses, I usually read with interest). You're right- my second response did come off bad- but had no intention of that. Even when an experienced jumper asks a question, they usually get a few smart-alec responses. I should have expected it (especially being that I have no jump experience). As you said, I didnt ask, with any intention of making a jump. As I said in the first and third post- it was a curiosity question, and also, maybe to meet up with a BASE jumper from my are, to tag along, get to see a jump in person, and maybe get some photos for me and them. Well, rather than me post all of that- thats why I asked for some basic guidelines. If someone came out and said, the minimum height for an A is say 200', then I'd have more interest into looking into the A's that I've seen. I have no idea of thier actual height, or what surrounds them as far as landing area, and fences, etc. Also, you mention AM or FM, and hot or not. As a non-jumper, your speaking another language. I'm sure I can figure out AM or FM (but have no idea why one would be jumpable or not), but whether its hot or not? You got me stumped on that one. If you dont want to openly discuss it in the forums, thats cool with me- throw me a PM. As I said, it's part for my own curiosity. I'm always trying to learn something new. I would say, I am a very amatuer photographer- meaning I know how to handle a camera. So sure, if there was anyone from , lets say, Southern Jersey (Sorry, cant think up any vaque cities to throw in there) i'd be more than happy to buty you a beer, and tag along to get some shots of you jumping (and I can work a two way radio and drive). I'm not a cop- wanted to be one, but that never happened. Plus, I'm too much into quading (and if you know New Jersey) there's no legal place to ride that doesnt cost you $500/year.
