I'm not worried about the verbal and I have a handle on morphemes. I am most concerned with the Quantitative/ Mathematics section. Which workbook did you get that had the sense of humor? Was it Princeton Review by any chance? I've never seen an ETS prep material that was funny before... just curious, I would be more apt to buy one that was easy to get through. -

I have gotten away with not having to take it until now, but the college I am applying to for my Doctoral program wants me to take them. Have any of you taken them recently and have extra software to share or tips on the experience? -
Okay. I'm bumping this. Some of you should join this so I can follow it and know your business because my butt hurts.

I tell you, I was hiding my feet after the 60 mile walk until just last month! LOL. Until recently I was missing 8.

One year I was a pirate. I have a kitten one somewhere too.

Good luck Peter. I will have to get a group together to make one of your races to cheer you on sometime. -
Bwwahhhaaahhaaa! I love it.

Can't shower or just can't get your leg wet? Because if it's just the latter, that's what boy toys and cabana boys are for, in my opinion- helping you get to those hard to reach areas while keeping the leg dry. Heh, heh.

I would just go to your Dr. and tell him what to prescribe. Say, "Dr. I need... myrapex or requip. Check it out and get back to me with whichever one would fit best with my medical background." Sometimes you have to tell Dr.'s to look into stuff before they will. Especially if your Dr. is older. I don't care what anyone in the medical profession will try to tell you they 'think' should happen in the field. I know from experience that occasionally YOU have to educate THEM. I have had to do this several times.

Ah sweety, big hug. I'm actually quite hungover so I'm feeling pissy too.

My ex used to call me "Miss Fidgetina" and I'd kick him. It's actually much better now that the plates and screws are gone. Anyone else ever notice that around 4AM it all of sudden calms down? But then in an hour I have to get up.

Death is overated. Who has been there and back?

Same thing happens to me but I don't think they lose us really... I could hear everyone freaking out the one time. To avoid that issue they gave me an epidural, and my BP still dropped. They kept talking about me, and finally starting talking to me and my pressure started to rise again. I think we are there but just very slowed down. Otherwise, we'd notice it. Now one time when I was about twelve I was in a clinic and was administered an adult amount of stadol twice in a row by mistake. Now that felt like I was floating away from myself and watching the whole scene.... but I was probably just really stoned. LOL. I was watching them yell at each other and it was funny but I couldn't respond. I remember thinking to myself, "12 is a really shitty age to die." -
I checked out Rothko, the colors were interesting though I have to admit that much of the abstract genre is lost on me. It will sometimes take me longer to figure out a color than to paint the actual image. I can understand the fascination with color.

Moon garden: I went to a flower party tonight.
swedishcelt replied to swedishcelt's topic in The Bonfire
It was very cool, the primrose was especially amazing. I would run up close to a bud and poof! it would open up in front of my eyes. LOL. -
I think I am hard on my brushes but I don't really buy sable anymore as my cat likes to take off with the expensive ones and eat them...

It was very cool. I'm friends with a couple who belong to the garden club or something. Their garden only blooms at night!! It was beautiful. We had a grill party and then after got drinks and went out into their backyards. At 8:30PM we all sat on benches, got loaded and watched the flowers. There was night blooming primrose, moon flowers, jasmine... The flowers open at dusk, and die in the morning, then the process starts all over again the next night. If you watch them just as it starts to get dark, they will actually pop open before your eyes. -
Do any of you paint? I've been taking it back up as a treat to myself. Which do you like most and why? I went from watercolor to acrylics but am sort of 'discovering' oil. They're smelly but I can paint all day, go to sleep and wake up and still paint off the same palette.

I disagree. There ... see you would fit in well in the Speakers Corner. Now as far as this forum is concerned ... just scream out "Look at me" ... "look how freaking popular I want to be". Hey Steve! What are you doing here? Do only the French Canadians really truly get sarcasm?
