  1. It could definitely be the cop from england, especially if the carver got kimber in last nights episode that I missed. For some reason every time they show the carver I picture christian but I am more inclined to beleive that it is either matt or sean. Matt and Sean have both proved that they can be violent. There was a carver attack that happened while christian was in custody right? That would rule out both christian and the cop from england, but we know there has been at least 1 fake carver victim so who knows. Quintin is a possibility, but my main reason for thinking it isn't him is that it is just way to convenient. Greenie in training.
  2. Wow, that was amazing. Just when I think I have done everything I want to do you have to post something like that. Greenie in training.
  3. Jacking up the resolution and framerate will certainly make a difference. More polygons won't be noticeable without the higher resolution. The framerates don't need to go higher but they need to be able to remain where they are at while improving poly counts. If you don't think video games look real you haven't seen some of the sports titles for the 360 on a big HDTV, they are amazing. Greenie in training.
  4. I find it very odd that you guys don't get the waves. I have ridden several different sport bikes through at least 10 states and it is rare that I don't get a wave back. That being said I allmost always have my hand out first when I see another rider. My entire family rides HD's or jap cruisers and I have no problem hopping on one for a ride if my bike happend to not be there at the time. As for the comment earlier about sport bike stunters giving the motorcyclists a bad name I somewhat agree. I was into stunting for about 2 years and saw a lot more friends get hurt than I have in my time skydiving thus far. You can safely stunt on the street you just have to know your limits and only push them when it won't endanger anyone but you. I did go through a phase where I wouldn't wave at anyone who had on no safety gear whatsoever (squid) and most of the time they were on sport bikes. Greenie in training.
  5. Yuck not orange juice with a cold. The citric acid pisses my throat off when it is raw from coughing/sneezing. Greenie in training.
  6. Kallend is this even remotely serious? I saw a post on fark or somewhere about it to. Did they just slip this past the patent office or is this actually being developed? Greenie in training.
  7. Just point me in the right direction to preorder it when you convince them to make it Jaap Greenie in training.
  8. got vid? That would definitely be of use to the BASe community. Greenie in training.
  9. I personally saw a guy slide down guy wire on a tower that was around 100ft tall. We were installing wireless internet relays and I was on the ground, he was on the tower and had just got the relay secured when several bee's started swarming around him. He is VERY allerigic to bees and if several stung him and he wasn't at the hospital very fast he could easily die. He ripped off his belt and slid down the guy wire and ended up with 1 bee sting and a very badly sprained ankle. Mind you the guy wire was not all that steep and he was a fairly small guy and the belt still snapped when his feet were at least 5 feet off the ground. I would not recommend trying it with nylon. 10. Have you seen him since? Give him a call and invite him out to make a jump. Nope I have since moved to a different state and I didn't know this guy he was someones out of town boyfriend from my understanding. Greenie in training.
  11. You too? It's really funny when that happens. Most times I let them just go on and on. My friends will be standing there laughing to themselves. I let them dig a hole so deep and then "Whack!" I let them have it. The best part is the look on their faces when they know they have been busted Most of my co-workers don't know I skydive. I'd rather keep that way, I get tired of all the silly questions. I have only had that happen once and it was at a kegger my friend was having for my birthday. There was this guy standing there talking to a group of people and as I walk by I hear "skydive" which sparked my interest. I stopped and listened for probably 10 minutes as people asked him normal whuffo questions but the answers were obviously comming from someone who was not a skydiver. He used the word extreme at least 20 times. Several of the people in the crowd of about 15 standing there knew I was a skydiver as they were friends of mine and it was MY birthday lol. They didn't however realize this guy was full of shit. Finally my friend brian asks asks him if he ever jumps with me and the guy didn't know what to say. Then I let him have it. Asked him where he jumped and what a coincidence he replied with my home dropzone. I said really how often do you go? "Oh a few times a week after I get out of school." I said yeah to bad they don't skydive durring the week. At that point everyone was laughing at him and he knew he was screwed. He did put his tail between his legs and admit he was lieing out his ass and shortly there after left the party Greenie in training.
  12. I disagree with the time commitment. If you don't have 1 day a week to go out and make some jumps you don't need to be looking for any kind of recreational activities really. The whuffos in my office that play softball spend way more time doing that in a week than I do skydiving. I think it is a mix of money, fear, and interest. Some come out to do it once, some try it with the possibility of continued training but are afraid to continue, and some just can't afford it. Edited to add that if you have the time everyone can afford it. I got laid off from work halfway through my student progression and made the money to finish by learning to pack and then packing enough to make a jump and then packing some more. 13. Best solution is to stand up and ride BMX. Greenie in training.
  14. Yeah my first year out of HS me and some friends all had apartments in the same building and we would get together every night to play some risk and all got to be pretty good. One night we were playing a team game and a guy on the other team tried to rush us and died, his partner got pissed and yelled "fuck you I told you not to rush, we forfiet, NUCLEAR BOMB!!" and sent the board flying across the room. 16. It is all about RISK! Nothing better than plotting to take over the world and then doing it in a matter of a few hours right? Edited to add: If you are clearly superior to the rest of you competition just drink faster than they do it will even the odds. Also you can play teams and pair the new people with the pros. I spent a drunken night playing risk with the new guy asking me every turn, "can I try to take over north america now?" After enough glasses of wine I said "you won't make it but go ahead and try." He tried and failed and we lost. I almost managed to win solo after he was wiped out but was just not lucky with the dice that night. Greenie in training.
  17. So at some point this game is just going to disappear? Greenie in training.
  18. I am looking at the flexfoils now. What kite would you recommend? This thread sparked my interest and it looks like a fun toy to add to my collection. I want something conservative so my friends could play with it some to. Also should I get handles or a bar? Greenie in training.
  19. Glad to hear some good news comming from that area. Sorry to hear about the food in the fridge/ freezer. Greenie in training.

  21. Some guys get yummy pies and some girls have had nasty ones I think. Just bear in mind if you beat me to 100 I won't get to pie you but I will certainly be one of the people making the pies Greenie in training.
  22. Don't know haven't logged in about a month and a half, might have 100 allready but I would bet that I am just shy of it. Not in any hurry to find out since the pies at skyranch are sometimes very nasty. Greenie in training.
  23. You going to have 100 this weekend? Greenie in training.
  24. My best advice would be don't get a dell or gateway. If you know anyone who can build a computer pay them 50-100$ and order the parts from newegg.com and have a nice computer that you will be able to upgrade as new technology comes out instead of replacing an entire computer in a couple years. If not you will probably be forced to buy from dell or one of the others. Greenie in training.
  25. I say just go with that bikini you are gonna use for the mr.bill Nothing is an option as well, and I bet both of those are more likely to get you more free shit Magellan Greenie in training.
