Ok, so I just saw this. My questions.... who jumped the "mighty mended" rig, or was that all BS? Where was that shot, etc..... Would any of you honestly trust a "glue" to your rig??? Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Laptop got a fresh install of Ubuntu. Ok, so I have to go and redo some of the settings, but that's part of the "fun" of linux. Desktop to be upgraded soon....... Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Uh oh..... Upgraded my laptop, and now it won't boot into Linux. Stay tuned. Downloading the ISO disk now. My laptop is over 5 years old, so it may be about to die for other reasons too. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Ok, so I haven't been jumping or posting much. School, work, etc.... I have however been spending as much time as possible with this little cutie! I miss having weekend numbers.......... been over six months since I've jumped. I recently paid my USPA dues just so I wouldn't run the risk of losing my license, etc.... would hate to have to start over once I start jumping again. After years of trying to help my parents with their computer over the phone, I finally found a free "remote desktop" application that I like! www.logmein.com is Great. Free version as long as it is for personal not professional use. Works quick and easy, with a couple of layers of passwords for protection. I believe they have a linux and Mac version available too in the "lab" area. Love the free geeky stuff. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

I recently canceled the blockbuster video online service and re-joined Netflix. Love the online viewing, if I only had more time. Netflix is addapting to the changing use of online video, Blockbuster is not. GnT Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"
