I remember when i did this with vhs tapes .I exported dv from my powerbook back to camera with a (tape wound all the way to the end ) this way it didn't record to to my dv tape, so this way it went thru the camera then to the vhs tape or dvd recorder . Water landings can be fixed if its done right.I put a response to a forum awhile back about this.If it happens again you need to soak it in distilled water immediately to wash out all sediments, then put it in alcohol to disperse the water .I have known of several people to do this and it works . What were all your settings on that shot? I was playing around today a bit.I tried shooting the same subject with manual shutter and aperture. shutter 160 ap of f10 and got a real nice blue sky and good color thru out the image but my subject was shadowed about 9 10 feet away so i turned on my flash to 1/2 power which pretty much made the shot work but i only got 1 or 2 shots with flash .any suggestions on that?
