If you found a bank bag full of money, would you return it to the bank?
jtval replied to JohnRich's topic in The Bonfire
Loose money is mine unless I see who dropped it. Then, it's theirs. A wallet with no id, and only cash(which I can't see happening) is mine. If their is a way to return it, it's theirs. A bag of money with an obvious company/bank name is theirs. An unmarked bag...I would wait for the news to report who lost it and return it. Why? Because, I don't trust the cops to do the right thing. If there is ANY chance that the money can be returned, it will be returned, if I find it. It's just not worth the guilt...even if its millions. With my XTi, The quick release plate partially covers the battey door. I am not sure about the T3 but I suspect that would be the case as well. Blue Skies, Jason Dremel? on my XTI I cut the plate so I could move quickly. as long as you ensure there are no burs on the plate you'll be fine. My photos My Videos

Whooo-what? Did you just...wait. Huh? The way I did it on windows was manually.(probably differential) I dragged the folder to my back up drive and mirrored it. Since I never leave my backup drive attached to the computer used to do it manually on windows. I was hoping to do the same on Mac. My photos My Videos

Thanks. I'll check that out. My photos My Videos

Yea. I had a separate drive for time machine. I don't understand how the 1TB drive filled up after three timemachine backups when my hard drive is only 500gb. My photos My Videos

rehash of an old post.... I've used time machine three times. it completely filled up my back up drive because from what i was told be the genius at Apple store is that back up doesnt progessively add files to the folders. it OVER WRITES the previous back up unless you choose to save the back ups as different projects. Why would I want to continue filling up hard drives wihth some of the same info in three different "back-ups?" If I merged all of the backups it would take less the 2ce the space on the disk. PLease tell me I was misinformed. I.E. If you look at the attachment it may clear things up. I want to be able to drag my "media" folder to my back up drive which already has a "media" folder while keeping the old info and adding the new. Is there a way to do that without having to open every subfolder and selecting every file on my computer to drag into the corresponding subfolder on my back up drive? I would have to go to my computer "Media/Skydive/JT Dives" and select those files and drop them into my back up drive under the "Media/Skydive/JT Dives folder." THAT is super time consuming My photos My Videos

Alex, Check out SKYDIVE MESQUITE'S FACEBOOK PAGE. Make a post. I'd bet you'd find someone willing to drive you up there. Most of the jumpers in Vegas know that it can be a bit rough for travelers. Many of the regulars, drive there 2ce each weekend. If I still lived in Vegas I'd give you a ride. My photos My Videos

That depends if they enter. I cannot read the info. Some contests require you to give up your rights to the photo. I would hope this one does not, but without full knowledge, I won't enter. My photos My Videos

Just to add a reason why I agree with the others: If you go with your option and need to use your hook knife you fail to realize that the pressure form the helmet being pulled may not allow you to get the hook knife under the chin strap. Now, you're dead because you wanted to save $55. Seems like a bad choice to me. But at least your loved ones will be able to use that money for your cremation. The post would read "Fatality-video/main entangelment" My photos My Videos

To hell with a hundred jump wonder. I'm going to try that tomorrow. Except that I will space the cameras out more so I can get more of a matrix effect. My photos My Videos -

Poor man's copyright: Mail yourself a copy of what you are trying to copyright. Don't open it until you have to prove it in a court of law. the post mark serves as a date. I used to do that while I was waiting for my material to go through the "approval" process of the copyright. My photos My Videos

Exactly what I was thinking. Since most of them double your age, Ron, did you expect them to tear the carpet out and fix the bathroom? You served your country once, now serve your countrymen so you can enjoy their stories. My photos My Videos
