man, there is no way to tell who does for sure, because BASE doesnt have the super-reliable, un fakeable, logbooks that all skydivers have.

whoa, its not that bad, it is just annoying, and im sick of being bed ridden(ish). it is tighter then the last one i had on the last two weeks, but im not swelling, and its not pinching a nerve. I thought about doing something that would make it ok for me to take it off, without haveing to go to the ER, i am mildly alergic to chlorine, and it is a waterproof cast, soo... hmmm... you know what im getting at. i had a close call in febuary with insurance, dont want to do that. almost had to pay my 850,000 bill, thank god my pops knows that truth is relative. he saved my ass.

1500' is a big change for an hour long period. you would probably see the actual front moving over you for that.

fuck dude. am i really getting old? im twenty two and a half. thats kinda depressing. i like to think i can still hea pretty good, just not as good as when i was 15. but better than 5 years from now. and its a tendon, i spent 2 hours without a cast at the docs today, he told me to stretch my toe when i am bored at home, i cant see why haveing it off for a shower every48hours, with no weight bearing on that leg at all. (i have spent 6 out of the last 11 months in a wheelchair, so im good at ass scooting) sigh. maybe your right. but its really tight, and i cnt sleep. obviously

i dono if it has been covered yet, but any nylon woven or twisted rope or cord will lose 10-40% of its strength when knotted. the loss goes up with the diameter of the rope being used, and it will go down with the amount the rope or cord stretches. break cord is very low stretch relative to its similar diameter OR similar strengh nylon. so a the same knot would weaken the break cord more than say, a suspension line. sigh... i need to sleep. or cut my cast off.

wondering. i did it when i was 15, i broke all 5 metetarsals in my right foot. 3.5weeks into the break, i wanted to take a shower, so i sawed it off, was super carefull, took a shower, and spent the next 2 weeks with a duct taped on cast. taking it off every other day to shower. now i have a cast on my right ankle again, toes to 10cm below knee. and it is really bugging me. i had surgury for tendon release in my #2 toe, and a 'zeeplasti' (sp?) on my big toe. i got the stitches out today, and doc put a new cast on, and it is really bugging me. im getting ideas.

I had 26 jumps, and went to eloy for the holiday boogie. My first jump there was a solo, then i hooked up with a pretty decent freefly crew. me and another jumper who had 9 jumps did a 9 way hybrid 3 different times, and then did a 14way hybrid twice. the least experienced (said freind) was the base. i was the base for the 9ways, then became a stand flyer for the 14ways. so, me and freind had 33 jumps between us, and we started doing freefly jumps with a bunch of BASE jumpers and freeflyers that had an average of 700 jumps. organiser had 2400. so, my answer is 9 jumps for someone to jump with me. im picky.

that is an extremely good rule. as long as skydiver remember that below 1000', a reserve is the first thing that should be touched. I am a jump pilot, and i am sure other pilots have already posted this in this thread, but if your being ordered out by the pilot, and as long as your not a unhooked tandem, you would be much better off getting out. for your life, and more importantly, the pilots. (the 1000' thing is my 'rule')

Hmm... i designed and built a hang glider when i was 16, i flew it off my freinds roof, then took it to a huge hang gliding sight in my home town, and flew it off the 1000' cliff, crashed into a windsock, and almost killed myself after a spiral spin into a guardrail. then, a year later, i built a better one i still fly, last year, i single handedly taught my best freind how to skydive, i put him in my rig, gave hiom ground school, faked a logbook, then rented him student gear and did a 3way with another freind of mine. he did perfectly and now has 40odd jumps with no 'formal' training. I hadnt skiid in 8 years, and my best jumping freind told me about a skibase he had opened. i bought boots, borrowed his skis, and the two of us went and skiid off a 600' cliff with base gear. my first skiibase jump. now im what i call a 'decent skiier', with a few more skibases, and a lot of weekends in the mountains. I was flying an airplane from juneau alaska to washington with my freind, and his older sister. he fell asleep, i turned the autopilot on, and hopped in the back seat with his sister, for a lttle bit of real mile high action. best blowjob i ever had.
