Florida sounds good. Better than Ontario, especially this time of year. I just have to go out and buy a peice of shit camper and then I could pick you up. We could hopefully just make it to a decent DZ in Florida then the camper would break down. oh NO!, would be stranded there, whatever could we do? (A: just maybe skydive) p.s. Friday stinks (the day part anyway)

Ok Kelly, heres what you do..... You can pick a general area to land but when you are about 10 seconds from touching the ground pick your "true" target. That method will insure greater accuracy.

I never heard any reasons why. just that it wouldn't be returning. This isn't a democracy, fine. It would be nice if it was back.

You can search by either first name , or last, username, or area, but not all at once. Before you could search for joe in south africa and there was a lot of other things that I can't ever remember but I still want them back.

It allowed you to seach the dropzone database for skydivers based on where they lived, home DZ, Name (first , last or both) and quite a few other options all at once if you wanted. If someone wants to and explain it better go right ahead...

Remember the skydiver link? It's 25% there sortof, but what about searching multiple fields and search by dropzone, etc... . When it was removed it was said it would be temporary. Now Sangiro says he's not bringing it back. Maybe we can gather some support to get it back in it's full glory.

The canopy I was jumping before I bought my gear had a p/s that did not need to be cocked. It was always ready to go and you never had to think about it. While I was flying the canopy it would be trailing nicely behind but how much drag that would cause, I would think minimal. You could try finding one like that if will allow you to sleep at night.

not a bad litle spreadsheat, My CSPA membership cost me more than 50.00 a year and it won't let we change that one. Interesting way of looking at it. When you had 120.00 for a cutaway, what was involved in that price?

I don't know if there is a "type" that defines a skydiver. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. When I started this thread I didn't expect to get so much feedback but most of what is being said in the posts is true. I got a better answer than I expected. I guess the X-Games is really just the $-games. Everything always comes down to the almighty buck.

I was at casino niagara last night playing craps. Haven't went since the summer. Anyways I usually like to play with around $300 but I'm not working right now so had to limit it to $100. I rolled 2nd and hit the mark 4 times and was up $300 at the end of my turn. Should have left then but I had only been there 15 min .I stayed for another hour and was then only up $130. I decided to leave with that. Not a great win but still a win. The most I've won is around $1200 and I would say in the last 4 years all and all I'm up about $3000 so I can't really complain. Where the money went? I wish I knew.

1) What is the best place to get gear at the best deals? 2) I've been searching, but can't seem to find any websites or stores that sell Skydiving equipment based out of Canada. Anyone know of any?
