In General, jumping military is like jumping cargo. Not at all like sport jumping....hours of waiting on the ramp, and it's not something you get to do everyday. If that's the purpose of going into the military, you might be dissappointed. Skydiving isn't scary;...but clowns...CLOWNS are scary!

Skydive Newport is small DZ. The upside is that it makes the time you spend there more personal. The downside is that it may be booked up if you don't call first. Whether a tandem or a solo, the view from 10,000 is incredible. The ocean, only two miles away takes up 270 degrees of the horizon, absolutely beautiful.
