The Z1 Alpha is the most comfortable helmet I've tried. The liner is fantastic and the fit is snug but without any pressure points. The only suggestion would be to add an additional piece of velcro behind the rubber forhead section to better secure the liner at that point. This lid is WELL worth the money.

sounds like a good choice. I've got tons of mil jumps, but am just off of student status for "REAL" jumping so a relatively docile main sounds about right for now. Skydiving isn't scary;...but clowns...CLOWNS are scary!

I'm a 2 digit midget...flat out. I'll log every jump, and act like every one was the most fun I've ever had, because it probably was. My Military jumps don't count either. It's such a different thing entirely I don't want anyone to think I know more than I do. I'll ask newbie questions and maybe get flamed for some, but eventually the answer will pop up. Padding numbers in here disrespects the group as a whole. As far as logbooks, I learned from ignoring my underwater time as a commercial diver. ok, quick sermon by someone who was there..... Don't let the press coverage get you down today. We do what we do in this job (both of mine I guess) so that everyone else can live their lives with a peace of mind. This next statement is a controvertial one, but here it is...There are no hero's wearing a badge, just people doing the job they get paid, and love, to do, If something bad happensto us, it happens, we try to avoid it, but it happens to one or more of us about every two or three days. That's just part of the job. Remember what happened that day, be aware of what you need to do if something else happens, but let today be like the rest, just pause a minute and move on. Me?
