  1. They actually have a Skydiving Sigmund Freud at their site.
  2. It's probably early merchandising for this summer's blockbuster hit movie "Einstein"
  3. hmmm....exoskeleton. I wonder if it comes in black.
  4. Mine was about the same and a bit of a surprise since I went for the "all-inclusive" shipping option.
  5. Sweet pic. Not only was I in Super Blue Shark for the POPS loads (RIGHT TRAIL ROCKS!) but Perris sent down the Blue Shark for the Belize Boogie. It was great to see it sitting by the runway when we landed in San Pedro.
  6. There's a video in the wingsuit section of skydivingmovies.com that shows the Blade being folded and bagged at the factory. It also shows a cool little backpack that they apparently don't send out anymore. At least I didn't get one.

    Eclipse!

Currently clear blue skies in Oregon. Go figure. Hope it's still that way in two hours....

    Blade

What? Birdman isn't including the custom gloves with the built-in nav lights for those extra-long flights? Hmmm. Must have been just me. p.s. cool pic, thanks.

    Blade

Helsinki to me in 2 1/2 days. This thing's fast even before I take it out of the box.

    Blade

True, true. Hopefully I'll make it down to Lodi sometime soon and get a retroactive "Pawlowski". "Karma"--is that the new Birdman suit from their 2008 Flightgear collection?

PORTLAND, OR, US 02/05/2008 5:38 P.M. ARRIVAL SCAN SWEET!

    Blade

Given the weather in Oregon I can pretty much guarantee you'll be flying your Blade long before I'm flying mine. While I am headed back down to Belize later this month for the Boogie, I'll be taking my Classic II and leaving the Blade at home. "Bad things" can happen when you combine an unfamiliar wingsuit with an unfamiliar environment. Now I just have to figure out how to photoshop Scott into my requisite new wingsuit picture since I didn't get an official "Campos" last month in Eloy.

    Blade

Ordered mine Jan 2nd, original date of delivery was Feb 15th but that was recently updated. It was shipped Monday morning (Helsinki time), has been through Stockholm, Cologne and Louisville, KY (UPS hub) and is already on its way to Oregon for expected delivery tomorrow. WooHoo! Following the UPS tracking reminds me of NORAD "tracking" Santa's progress every Christmas Eve.
  14. Is that the same Elevator that flew jumpers at Sheridan "back in the day"? If so, I thought his name was Otis. Either way, Sheridan's Elevator was really a great jump/bush pilot. I remember him in a Cessna getting ready to take off. There was a student coming from the other direction on final. Instead of waiting, Elevator hit the throttle, went about 100 feet, pulled up at about a 45 degree angle until he was at about 100 feet and nearly zero airspeed, levelled out and turned off the flightline.
  15. Seems like old times. My FJC instructor/jumpmaster was also "Wild" Bill Jeswine, Sept, 1978 down in Sheridan, OR. This was right before he and "Sonny" Roy Stolsig and their respective SO's headed up to Issaquah. I'd post my 1st page here but I just broke down my computer for a move.
  16. I think there's still a small, Cessna DZ down around Beagle, OR. I jumped there once a LONG time ago.

    Radar Detector

Radar detectors are like AAD's: Get one, but don't rely on it. I've had a V1 (the same one) for 7 years and love it.
  18. I was able to change my flight. I'm heading down to Eloy, but only for the first two days of the Boogie (12/22-23).
  19. A lot of nice shots but the photo of the wingsuiter deploying is SWEET!
  20. Haven't got mine yet, either. Is the cover shot of the completion or her cool 6-plane exit shot?
  21. Thanks for the info. I currently have an Altimaster II and III as well as the ProTrack. I'll probably end up getting an Altitrack to replace the III and move it up to a mudflap mount when I get a suit with grippers. Al-PM'd you.
  22. I put up four jumps on a Classic II earlier today, pulling at about 5000 feet each time. On two of the dives, my ProTrack recorded a freefall time of about 40 secs and a pull altitude of about 9500 feet. It also gave a freefall speed in the 50's and 60's, which felt about right. I wear my ProTrack inside my ProTec, have it set as TAS and Dive Type "----". Do I need to change the position and/or settings of my audible to get accurate results?
  23. I need a good (and easy) program to create a DVD for my parent's 50th anniversary. I have the photos on my computer (PC with a DVD burner) and need an application to arrange them in slideshow format with background music. Any suggestions? Thanks.
