The national poetry contest had come down to 2 finalists, a Yale graduate and a resident of Newfoundland. They were given a single word then allowed 2 minutes to come up with a poem that contained the word. The word they were given was Timbuktu. First to recite his poem was the Yale graduate. He stepped up to the podium and recited into the microphone: Slowly across the desert sand, Trekked a lonely caravan. Men on camels, two by two, Destination- Timbuktu. The crowd roared with applause. The sentiment in the crowd was the there was no way the Newfie could top that poem. The Newfie made his way to the stage and approached the microphone. He cleared his voice and recited: Me and Tim and huntin went, Met tree hookers in a pop up tent. They was tree and we was two, Si I bucked one and Timbuktu. The Newfie won hands down Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,

I have Nextel and quite frankly I don't like it. It works fine inside citites and major highways. However, as soon as I hit the countryside, I have no signal. At least here in my neck of the woods. I used to have Verizon and am definitely considering switching back. I have a nationwide coverage with free roaming free long distance and talkie walkie. But if I can't use it, there's no use. You better check for the best coverage in your area. It might be different in Fla than MD, NoVA and DC. JM Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2,

Agreed, relax, relax and relax again. Your fear is normal, it will disminish whit experience. You went back and that's what matters. The more you jump the more you will build confidence. Trust yourself. No need to be embarassed, you are just begining. We all went through the same feelings. Welcome to the boards, and moreover WELCOME TO THE FAMILY. Let us know how it's going. Amen to that, yeah it's better than before. Welcome back to you too I am doing my shopping list, and trying to find out which kit to put together. I feel like a kid around Christmas, so many toys to choose from Hispas Brothers President HISPA #2, -
Yes it can be a lot to digest. But it can be easily dealt with. Repeat all your actions while on the ground, clear your mind of every thing else, and go through your jump as if you were on the air. Step by step. from the moment you are about to exit the aircraft, til after the pull out. Do it many times, concentrate on the exercise. Then, enjoy your jump as usual
