i had a weird injury on the weekend also.. after a very nice swoop had a bit to much speed than would have liked so did the same thing as ian feet first then slid on my arse just as i was going to my arse i was passing a nylon X that is pinned to the ground. the edge of it came in contact with my finger and severed it half way off. nah 2x 200meter ropes. it would be quite heavy carrying it all up in a bag and quite restrictive in most ladders.. but all you would do is climb up with an end attached to you.. and when you got to the point where you needed it you would pull it up there. it only takes a couple of minutes to pull up a 200 meter rope. and climbing with an end wouldnt add to much weight to the climb till you got higher up. angle wont matter. the rope would still be lowering you down at your own speed. and your connection to the guy wire keeping you with it. i personally have 400 meters of rope at home but our tallest A is only 700feet. Life is Great. Even Greater what we do with it.

i was actually thinking the other day how to rescue someone on a guy wire. wouldnt be that hard of a situation. climb up to the attachment point of the guy wire. rig up your ropes there. hook a beener around the guy wire. connected to your sit harness by a sling and connect your decender to the rope.. slide down the guy wire with the beener that is connected to it. using the rope to control your decent.. hardlock off once at the victim hook them up to you accordingly and slide down the rest of the guy wire. pretty sure tandem canopies have 2 toggles on each side.. they normally use the main ones just for steering and flying around and use the second set for flaring. something about using all of them the whole time would make your arms to tired. i could be completly wrong though =) A good thing would be to ask the buyer what area he lives in for "shipping purposes" there is not to many DZ's in australia and none close togeather if he found it near his house you could narrow it down to the dropzone straight away. If your asking if 300feet is high enough. then yes it is. i have not done a 300feet bridge personally but have done 170feet over land.. and 120feet over water. Life is Great. Even Greater what we do with it.

G'day, after reading a post i saw someone talking about RWS trulock risers, am i right in beliving these lock the slider down after you stow it. i looked around on the RWS website and couldnt find anything on them. where could i purchase a pair of these and what other companies make them Thanks in advance.
