Today we got our PC-6 back with Dash 34's and a wicked sound system to match.... after its major over haul in Switzerland for the last 2 weeks.... Being the best of the best I had the privalage of doing the first Tandem from her.... and the ride to altitude complete with Linkin Park blasting out.. was very comfortable.... and in no time at all it was 2 minutes to run in at 14500ft agl.... very fast indeed !!!!... This is a great jumpship and with the new seating inside ( 10 Place ) and sound system ( I know I have mentioned this twice already ) ... is a massive boost for the DZ and will be more enjoyable for everyone with faster climbs and faster turnaround ... Come check us out.....

Years of being around good AFFI's and taking a little bit of everything they offer to you then spending the cash and doing loads of coaching and then trying the course. No substitute for practice and sitting in the ground preps........

congrats dude........ depending on a number of factors but sometimes I say a quick Nice skydive and remind them to think and be aware under canopy.... and tell them I´ll speak to them on the ground......... But as I see in this thread a difference in personal modus operandi ... for sure you need to take care.... well done and I hope you give the best to youre students...

quite correct David..... as long as the AFF course graduates fullfill the requirments of the cat 8 jump and the consols as outlined withing BPA rules they have no problem what so ever when they return to the UK as nearly all CCI´s in the UK are aware of course´s run abroad and who runs them and the strict course structure that USPA runs and the standard of professionalism of the instructors who run them....

hey mate... the freefall University is an excellent place to start your AFF as you will be with professional staff and have use of excellent facilties... but what makes this company special in my opinion is the personal one on one touch from David and Lucy...from the minute your plane lands to you buying your graduation beers you will be looked after...Give them a call.... the dropzone is fantastic and has great weather and a very relaxed enviroment with swimming pool and bar...All the staff and customers mingle together and the place is free from egos and bullshit that plague most DZ's in the world... Brian Vacher was here last week and managed to swoop the whole pond with an impressive 460ft swoop ( approx ) which in my book makes that an unofficial world record.... nice one brian... Tronko... maybe an idea to lenghthen the pond a little ???

I`ll have a look at the others..... It started after a bad Tandem landing.... I work in skydiving for the summer and I dont need this bollox now.It is a pain I have never felt before... like severe cramp down the right leg with fire as well.I can hardly walk and feel like just cutting the leg off!!! Thanks guys.... I`ll let you know when it gets better

Ok Guys.... quick rundown... Pinched my Sciatic nerve 2 weeks ago... thought I broke the back ,had medical and xrays in hospital and was diagnosed as said...Back bone structure and tissue is normal.... been on strong Anti Inflammatory and Muscle relaxants plus pain killers.... also attended 2 sess`of Acupunture... But after the second ( today ) felt really bad... leg is in agony like terrible cramps but I have flexibility.Affects my temperament big style... had a go at a shop assistant for taking to long with my bill as the leg was killing me....normally I am subtle to sarcasm from women but this one pissed me off.... My question.... is this ever gonna F**king ease up !!!! what am I gonna do ?? I feel a massive improvement but walking is a MF and dont even mention the getting up in the mornings shit !!! HELP ME FELLOW BROS AND GALS !! WHAT CAN i DO ??

Skydive Lillo is so accessable from Madrid airport and Madrid airport being an epicentre for travel in and to Europe,quite cheap also.The Dz has a pick service from Mike which is cheap and well worth the chance to listen to the guys great tales of the world.The local town is superb and has some great Bars and Cafeterias to chill out in during the evening or at Siesta time,and is also a great chance to experience the spanish language and culture....

I`ll be back next week on the 13th.... its the lure of the longest pond in Europe and the feeling of being rocketed to altitude by the super porters !!

Hey tronko I heard that the Porter will have new Dash 34`s engines.... so this means it will do full altitude in 9 minutes or so ??? If this is correct ... then technically this is one fast jumpship !!! Probally one of the fastest in Europe.... and with ten jumpers then its possible for two 4-way teams to train out of one aircraft......
