  1. Who's that cute boy in the uniform in the background of after pic 2?
  2. I own half of a rig. I can not afford a whole one, but it's cheaper than renting one.
  3. No I don't own one. But I think tha Aztec is kinda sexy.
  4. Well my friend Greg was borowing his cousin's guitar. On Saturday, he's giving the guitar back. We took this picture to include in the case, so he'll find it when he opens it up. Just so he knows where the guitar has been and what it's been up to. The caption on the picture is... I Love your Guitar.
  5. When I had my cutaway, I was a student. When I got down they asked me if I was okay. Then asked me what happened. Then went hunting for the main. I didn't have to pay a cent. I kept both of my handles, I don't think they would have minded if I didn't. At my DZ they tell you to try and hang onto your handles as they could hit someone/thing when they drop from 1000+ feet. And on all the student rigs the reserve handles are (obviously) d-rings. I myself saw a metal d-ring handle land in the parking lot 10 feet away from a mother pushing her baby in a stroller. I could only imagine the dent it could put in someones head.
  6. That is hands down. The funniest thing I've ever read on these forums.
  7. If someone has bid on an item you can't change the description of it. You can however add a note. So it is possible to remark that there is a difference.
  8. With that information, I would have no concern at all for jumping an AAD that can change modes easily. I think it's a good idea.
  9. My Question about the Vigil is, what does the screen say after it's been turned on after start up has finished? Meaning what would the screen look like/say when you check it later in the day to see if it's on? Do you have to watch the whole start up process to know what mode it is in? Or do you have to physically check? Or I guess more simply, everyone who has knowledge about the Vigil says it's obvious what mode it's in. Please explain to us who don't know why this is so?
  10. Okay, That made me laugh out loud. good job.
  11. That's the thing, they said that the cancellation # that I had wasn't long enough to be one. I didn't know that I was suppose to get the name and social insurance # of the person who I cancelled a reservation with. I think that I'll have to start taping my conversations or something.
  12. I did provide them with it, but they said that the hotel said that it wasn't valid.
  13. See I did put it on my mastercard. So I called mastercard and told them. I disputed it, filled out all these forms, and they refunded my money to me. In december, then last week I got my bill and it said, REPOST beside it. So I thought that mastercard had come through for me. But when I called them to ask why the charge was back, they said, that the hotel said I was a no show. And that I'd have to pay it.
  14. Okay, So I booked a hotel with Best Western by phone for a trip I was making last Novemeber. I then decided to change hotels, and dates, so I clld them up and canceled (so I thought) one and booked another. So then I go on my trip, and I get back and found out that they charged me for both hotels, saying that I no showed on the one I didn't go to. so I call them, and they say that I didn't cancel it. But I did, I gave them the cancellation # and they said that the number I gave them was not a cancellation # and that I have to pay for it. How is one suppose to fight something. When they simply just say, that's not a valid cancellation #. How am I suppose to know what a best western cancellation # should be? I just trusted that he gave me the right #. And I don't want to nor can I afford to (i'm a skydiver see) To pay $200 for something I didn't even use. >end of rant
  15. Okay I will add my humble opinion. I have four cats. The oldest one (age 10) has all of her claws. The other ones have been declawed. Talula, the 2nd oldest had her claws for a few years, then she started to rip up everything. I tried unsuccessfully to train her. So then I got the plastic covers for her nails. I have to admit that she looked beautiful with her little red nails (so beautiful everyone called her Lady Talula) They had to be re-applied every month, and she hated that process. Just picture a furry cat, long nails and krazy glue. I decided that in the long run she would suffer less discomfort with one operation then a monthly discomfort. (the first couple of days with her new nail covers she'd walk funny, and chew on them to try and get them off EVERY MONTH)After she was declawed she was sore for a week, but she's been happier ever since. From the experience I had with Talula, the two younger cats were declawed without much thought. So in summary. Some cats can be trained, some can't. Just because one has had success with there cat doesn't mean that all cats can be trained. All of my cats are very happy, the ones with nails and the ones without. When they were declawed it was performed while they were getting spay/neutered so they were already going under to begin with and they had a period of surgrey recovery to deal with regardless. The ones with the claws and the ones without them have the same mobility/friendliness and demeanor. I think the quality of life my cats have are very high. I wish I could lay around and sleep 20 hours a day. I don't think the loss of their nails was such an ordeal that others seem to think it is for them. But in the end, what do I know? My cats seem happy, but do I really know what they're thinking?
  16. It is an Oz show. With a twist With an interesting explanation of how the traditional Oz characters came to be. (I'm trying to be really vague to avoid spoilers.) It was spectacular.
  17. I just got back from seeing the Musical. And well it was..... Wicked!
  18. What kind of stereotypical comment is that? It is just as dangerous for heterosexuals to have unprotected sex.
  19. I think it would be nice if the price of the item the seller has listed would appear inside the link were the detailed information is.
