  2. If she is attractive, my head will turn cuz..well..I'm a guy. Doesnt matter if she is in a pickup truck or the Oscar Mayer Weiner car. I'd probably be more likely to give a "How YOU doin?" the the weiner car chick

    TV shows....

Whats TV? Is that that big square thing in the living room that my wife looks at all the time? I never saw the appeal, therefore I have no favorite show. OK I lied, I like Law and Order
  4. Actually the planes dont bother me at all. Quite the contrary. They are far more appealing to me than the Cessnas and the landing area is HUGE compared to what I'm used to and there are woods surrounding that landing area too. Its the sheer volume of people in the air at once that makes me nervous mostly. I've never been in the air with more than 3 or 4 other canopies at one time.
  5. All skydivers are the bomb wether they are in a big or little DZ. Thanks for all the replies
  6. Wow! I've been out of the game for 8 years and will be returning as soon as my new gear arrives. I did all my training and jumping at a small DZ in Hazelton PA and never even visited any other DZ before. Today, just to whet my apetite I went over to Crosskeys to check it out. Man, I just wansnt prepared for what I saw. Music blaring, people everywhere, an Otter and a Skyvan doing back to back loads non stop, and the canopies in the air a couple dozen at a time. It was VERY cool but frankly, I was also a little bit intimidated. I wouldnt have the first idea who to talk to to get an idea of how anything works there. All I've ever seen is a handfull of jumpers at a shot and 2 Cessnas and the whole thing run out of a Winnebego (I hear its a little different now) All low key, low pressure, low chaos. This was a skydiving culture shock for me. How does one in my rusty condition get started at a DZ like that? Actually, to start with I intend to jump at my old DZ till I get my "sky legs" back, but I DO want to get in the action at places like this too. I REALLY wanna jump the Otter and Skyvan. I want to get to 13.5 (they dont go that high where I jumped) How DO you break into a place like that when you dont know a soul there?

    RWS Logo

So are you saying that if I say "ching ching" that you will show me what the logo looks like?

    RWS Logo

Hiya, When ordering the Vector 3 you can choose to include a RWS logo on the ring cover or sidewall. I cant find anywhere that shows what these logos look like. Anyone know?
  10. 1. A Vector 3 M 2. It ordered but not yet arrived. No Picture yet 3. Pro = Skyhook. Also I colored it REAL nice Con = its not here yet 4. I'd order the same again. I've jumped vectors in the past and always felt good about it :-) PLUS I like the skyhook, which the new rig is sporting
  11. The only real solution to that is to just delete that whole Microsoft abortion and install a real operating system.
  12. Most places allow 16 and up if they have their parents permission and signiture
  13. Flying in a Blue Dream, Joe Satriani. Took me about a month and a half to get the guitar solo down. Love it.
  14. I like 9. Its similar to the one I'm ordering for my new Sabre2 only cells 8 and 9 will be black and cell 1 will be turquoise rather than white.
  15. No such thing as "Too old" Its different from one person to another. In my mind, the longer someone has been in the sport the more likely they are to have some wisdom that I want. People should be checked for their physical condition if they are doing something that might possibly impact on someone elses physical wellbeing. If its found that their physical condition could possibly put another person at risk, they cant continue doing that. These physical requirements should not be age dependant. I know some 60 year olds in better condition than some 30 year olds. I, at 38, am in FAR better physical condition than I was at 25 or 30. No contest. There is a big difference between too old and too infirm
  16. Cool, now come to Pennsylvania and do mine!
  17. They are probably coming out of that other guys nasty toe as well
  18. You should have added a 3rd option labeled "Hell yes!"
  19. Get them while you can. Lots of good jazz chords left. I'm down for Bm7flat5 and ALL major 7th chords
  20. Did I miss the election or something? Silly me, I thought it was in 04
  21. Rarified means scarce or thin. This implies that mals are more common when openeing higher. Personally I wouldnt chopose to call air at 3500 more "rarified" than 3000 or 2500. I would use that term to describe altitudes 16k or higher where you need supplimental oxygen. THATS rarified.
  22. This is almost more rediculous that I can bear. I'm going to write a song tonite that uses E,F (I doubt it will be as good as CrazyIvans!) I'm glad I STOLE all my Metallica mp3's
  23. Can you (or someone) explain what flying the opening means? I feel like I should know this but its never been explained to me
