I still laugh thinking I bought that picture of us on the plane. As always - another good time in Thomaston! Depsite the "in and out clouds", despite not having the extra aircraft after some technical difficulties and despite my 4 hour delay at the airport getting back home , I look forward to returning to Thomaston again soon. I just love that place (and so many of the people there )!! There were all sorts of cameras snapping during the weekend so I want to see pictures, or links to them. Come on folks - hook us up Special thanks to Kelly for hanging around with a bum ankle to get me to the airport! Heal quickly little one! Hey girl..........great to see you and Rory this weekend! I did Body for Life for the last 4 years and it works. Honestly I think South Beach has the same type principle but BFL tells you a bit more about supplements when you get tired of thinking about food all the time. 5 - 6 SMALL meals a day, lots of water, some sort of exercise and you are set. The goal is to keep the body constantly "fueled" and "running"......3 squares a day that we have been taught our entire life really is a CROCK! Also a little tip that worked for me - stay away from SODA. The carbenation kills ya and caffeine makes you have those little "cravings".... You know what you have to do, as we all do....it's finding the proper motivation, getting over the first hurtle and then making it a life style! Well what if the Friday night festivities just ended up being at the DZ - would you come then? You know me - I'm the old fart party pooper anyway. I need to be well rested so I can jump my ASS off all day I'm cool with bailing on the whole outing in DC and just chilling with my pals so we can be at the DZ bright and early.....I'm more of a morning bird then a night owl anyway - but I'm working on staying up past 10pm

WOW - guess Hawaii isn't as appealing as I thought - Perhaps I have to look OUTSIDE of the skydiving arena for a travel partner but normally skydivers are willing to do anything, hence why I thought a skydiver would be a fun travel partner....POOH! Here is what I am planning to do while there SO FAR: ~slide rope through the rainforest ~hike a volcano ~snorkel a cool reef ~and of course make at least one jump Otherwise the trip is totally "fly by the seat of my pants".....................I just love talking to myself Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I have some friends who are getting married there and I want to make the trip. I just don't think it would be fun to take a vacation like that solo, PLUS sure would be nice to share the costs with someone else who wants to take a kick ass vacation like that. It will be on Maui but I'm planning on island hopping because of course I'd like to make a jump or two there (Oahu). So I am looking for anyone who has the time and cash and wants to go spend some time in the Hawaiin Islands in early November. Drop me a PM, SERIOUS people. Need to start planning now before costs get too out of hand. I know how difficult it is for skydivers to NORMALLY plan that far ahead ....but come on - it's just a little planning Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

UGH...........I've heard! I paid my last house repair bill and officially have a NON-HURRICANE-DAMAGED home again and now I hear the forecasts...........I have been trying for nearly 2 months to get a hurricane shudder place to come give me an estimate - yeah right. I don't know what I'll do if I have to hang all that plywood myself. Last year I had fabulous help (a real blessing honestly) - that help isn't around any more - and I just can't stomach even thinking about it......guess I won't until I have to but I have the wood and the tapcons ready, if I need them.
