you don't need to be a BPA member to have a licence issued by them. I for example have a licence, and unless I loose it will continue to have one, however may choose to not be a BPA member this time next year. the hardware stores 'round here that do more than just the stuff that comes pre-packed (and therefore can't be checked whether it fits or not) are only open while I'm at work on the DZ. I had the nut to fit it on which has an attachment to fix it into the round indentation in the inside of the side of the bed and the other end of the bold needed to go into a threaded hole that is in the end of the bed. So, getting something with the right diameter and thread was the most important thing, which the hardware stores that are open when I have the time to go them couldn't deliver. and I'm a girl - I'm allowed to ask a man to help me with things, especially bed related ones tash Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. so, I moved house a while ago and in the process managed to loose one of the parts of my bed. I'd have called it a screw (no pun intended ). I thought my rigger may know where to get various metal bits from, so I took him one of the other ones to see if he could help. Not only did he tell me that it was a threaded bolt (no pointy end to make it a screw!), but within a week, his son had made me 3 spares . It feels like there is a gap in the lining into which the audible should fit, making it even with the lining. I sometimes need to fiddle a bit to get my Protrack to sit in it. Perhaps it's just a matter of you doing that kind of fiddling, or you could attempt to increase the size of that gap in the lining. If it's mounted on the outside, you may not hear it, so you risk making holes in your helmet, loosing your audible from a riser strike and not hearing it if you mount it on the outside. tash Don't ever save anything for a special occasion.
