Retired NCO here..............had the college, the GT score and passed the OST..........decided I wanted to remain and serve as an NCO......I could not see myself being a commissioned officer. I have no regrets.......if I had to do it all over again, I would make the same decision to stay enlisted. Edited to add: I enjoyed setting 2LT's straight.
