If you make it to Izushi-cho in Hyogo prefecture, say hello to my daughter. There's a dz in Toyooka, not far from where she lives. I tried to get a jump in there this summer, but you need to apply for permission and then pay lots of $. I started the process 4 days before we left and that wasn't enough time. Ummmm....:8:0 7 RW jumps, 8 way to 13 way. One coach dive. Made my 700th, on a dive when one of videographers was making his 3500th. He and I share the same birthday, as well. Just yesterday! I was in Olympia for a meeting, having flown from Spokane way too early yesterday morning. The meeting ended early and the drive back to Seatac was clear. Ended up on a 4:00 instead of a 7:00. That's great because I can't afford too many airport beers. Turn around trip next Monday for another meeting, and a 7:00 on Tuesday evening. That's a great idea. Sounds like fun for the kids. I'm a sucker for the reading thing. Read to them, take them to the library, get a variety of books. Have them see you reading as a common activity. We have about 4 jumpers who are RNs who work for the local medical helicopter biz. One of them is the DZO's wife. When see headlines about another med evac helicopter going down, I cringe that it might be local. Condolences to the families of those killed in the Maryland crash. Vint . . . . .
