Took Bug out to play with a friend's two Rotti's today .... They had a GREAT TIME!!! Wonder what Bug will think when 7 month old Katie and 3 month old Conner get to be FULL SIZE! 'Shell
  3. Will do. I'm not being witty now. What's the money situation on the island? Do the majority of places take credit cards or do we need to bring cash/travelers checks? Are there ATM's and banks should we need additional? From Rich's email in January: There are ATM’s on the island and banks that can handle any financial issues that may arise. Everyone accepts US money, traveler’s checks, credit cards and Belize dollars. It is 2 Belize to 1 US dollar. 'Shell

  5. Since this is the "Bacon Appreciation" thread I just want to say ... Bacon doesn't need seasoning when it is cooked. Bacon is good the way it is. Throw it in the pan, cook it up and ENJOY!!! Bacon. Wrapped in bacon. The way it was meant to be.

  7. A friend of mine makes the BEST french toast EVER!!! Yes, this may SOUND disgusting but it is YUMMY! Place one piece french toast on plate layer some nice crispy bacon on said piece layer some velveeta cheese over the bacon (use the block and SLICE it, don't use the pre-wrapped slices) Place one piece french toast on top Squish down with your spatula Add butter and maple syrup YUMMMMMMMMM!!! It is SO filling I normally take one piece of french toast and cut it in half and make it from that 'Shell
  8. Done from home and I'll do it again from work! Lubs ya Mitchells!

  10. What my science type friends have told me is that you can leave food out to cool at room temp but for no more than 30 minutes. After that time, continue to cool it in the fridge or put it directly in the freezer. Leaving it out at room temp for any longer can make some bacteria grow and THAT can cause problems. It will come back "alive" when you heat the food again. Yes, your fridge or freezer might have to work a little harder to cool it down but if you keep your freezer stocked so that the cool air can circulate around food, then it shouldn't be a problem. If I make a big pot of stew to eat tonight and freeze the rest for later, I'll prepare tonight's dinner, eat it and while that's happening, let the pot cool down on the stove with the lid on. Then when I'm cleaning up from dinner, I put the leftovers in containers and put them in the freezer. Are they still warm? Yes. Are they hot? No. Just my humble opinion and I do that a lot. So far, no problems. 'Shell

    Jokes

A man was packing for a business trip and his three year old daughter was having a wonderful time playing on the bed. At one point she said, 'Daddy, look at this', and stuck out two of her fingers. Trying to keep her entertained, he reached out and stuck her tiny fingers in my mouth and said, 'Daddy's gonna eat your fingers,' pretending to eat them. He went back to packing, looked up again and his daughter was standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face. He said, 'What's wrong, honey?' She replied, 'What happened to my booger?' 'Shell

It's my 40th and I'm going big!!! g Well, it would have been nice to see you in Belize. Guess I'll have to wait til LP to see you again!

  18. Renault and Ford are working on a new small car for women. They are mixing the Clio and the Taurus, and calling it the "Clitaurus." It comes in pink and the average male thief won't be able to find it, even if someone tells him where it is. 'Shell
