  1. It's a giant and I mean GIANT patch on the right leg, right on the front. Basically on the suit I just got, it would cover your whole right thigh. That is literally my only gripe. Other than that, the suit is awesome, resonably priced and got here quick. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  2. No, Sue the chair manufacturer for lack of warning label ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  3. Mine is still Student Gear. This sucks... I gotta get my own gear. I need a "get rig quick" scheme. Anyone think that dude on TV in the money suit that sells his book on government money can find me some money to get my own rig? ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo

    Rantoul

I am lucky. My family lives in Rantoul so I have easy access to lots of stuff. I can't wait, this will be my first boogie and I am excited. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  5. When I was in sales with the constant worry of where the next sale/paycheck was coming from the Stress was enormous and basically made life not that fun. When I sat back and figured out that the job was causing the stress and making me unhappy, I took the stand that money isn't everything and took a job that paid less, but left me happy. I have never regretted the decision. We need to enjoy life everyday and being stressed out all the time isn't the way to do it. Just my .02 ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  6. The Blues Brothers: how many other huge names can be in one movie.. Caddyshack Animal House... Star Wars the orignal 3 not the latest 2 pieces of crap. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  7. Which one? P4 2.0, P3 933, Athlon 650. Sad thing is the oldest is barely 3 years old and is so outdated it is sad. O yea, one is a Best Buy Clone, one is Dell, one is an IBM. The Best Buy Clone (VPN Matrix) has been the one that has been most trustworthy and had fewer Blue Screens of Death. (Could be the fact that it is running XP over Win98) ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  8. The second jump for me was where I knew I was completely hooked. Not just partially, but completely. When I let go of the wing and actually counted to five and noticed how fast the plane got really really small I was hooked. Then you try to tell your Whuffo friends that you were hanging from the wing of a plane at 3500 ft and they don't want to believe you. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  9. S/L which worked great for getting rid of the fear of sitting next to the door wedged into a C182. It was kind of frightening facing the back of the plane on your first jump, they say Door, and suddenly there is this loud noise and a long drop to your left. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  10. There is a survivors boogie?? Let me know, I just got my clean bill of health and just got cleared by the Doc to start jumping again. Surgery Sucks!!!! ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  11. Oooooo, I had a GOOOOOd Christmas. I got my new Jump Suit and then my parents surprised me with a Pro Track. How cool is that... ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  12. I just got the new Mindwarp. It is the only one that fits the big melon of my head. I tried the Nvertigo XXL and no luck. The Mindwarp fits good. Installed the ProTrack today and am ready to jump :) ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  13. You can have all of ours and it is still coming down. Ahhhh. How soon till summer??? ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  14. I heard one say, Since we are the last group to leave the plane and I have to hold on to you, you have to shut the door. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  15. This is the case where that whole Jury of your Peers should come into play. She is a skydiver, jury should be skydivers :) That would solve alot of the problem. Just imagine a jury of skydivers... The lawyer would be showing video of malfunctions and the jury would be reaching for their cutaway handles.... ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  16. Dave, You are looking for a Clapper Cell phone??? Clap On... Clap off... O I can just hear the TV commercials now. "Have you ever misplaced your cell phone?? Well here at Ronco we can help with the new CLapper Phone" Can you imagine what would happen at a big sporting event. And the Home team wins **Applause** BEEP BEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEEP ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  17. A low interest rate card with a pic of a 4 way. They have to do something better than that. If they worked something out with the 800-skydive folks where for every XXXX dollars you spent you got a free voucher for a ride to 13K from a DZ, we might be talking. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  18. Skyrose, I am trying to order one right now, but they are having problems with their CC card acceptance. Hopefully soon.. I want a suit. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo

    Axl Rose

AXL can't perform until he is drugged up, and he can't tell how drugged up he needs to be before he passes out... This happens with a lot of the old hair bands. Motley Crue tried to get back together, failure. Van Halen tried to get back with David Lee, failure. Listen to the old stuff and don't count on new. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  20. DZ.com is provided as a place for skydivers to meet and talk about many things. It isn't meant to be your personal playground. If you don't like the current policy please move on, just don't destroy what everyone else likes. Don't turn this into one of those cases where because one person is upset they take the fun away from everyone else. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  21. OK, this one will definitely win the worlds funniest video... Man the dude who owns this plane is gonna be pissed.... ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  22. I love Tri's, they give you a great feeling of accomplishment. I have never done the IronMan, but I am supposed to start training for one in 2005. That scares me, the swim and the Bike are OK, but running a marathon after already working out for 7 hours is kind of scarey ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  23. How about, No Officer, my friend was too drunk to drive ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  24. Never say never!!! If you can do 12, with just some work and a good training partner you can do a marathon. My biggest problem with a marathon is getting enough calories to sustain myself during the ~4 hours of running. I hit the wall so hard I had a running argument with myself over how long the race was. I couldn't remember if it was 26.2 or 22.6... the really scarey thing was that I was still arguing with myself at mile 25. It's amazing how something like that can really zap your mind as well as your body. ----------- Ready, Set, Gooooooo
  25. A 4 mile marathon?? I thought everthing was bigger in Texas not smaller
