  1. Well said Shutter. One more thing, How is it that none of these folks that knew Kenny so well, and knew all of these fine details on him, knew nothing about the article that Grey had written about their dear friend Kenny? They had no idea that Kenny had been pegged as possible being DB Cooper until Blevins came around asking questions? I find this hard to believe. Especially for this group of people with amazing memory and awareness skills. Their stories (and memories) were already manufactured before Blevins showed up. 2. Kaye: See pages 255-256 of Skyjack. What he actually says is 'the money did not float down the river' and that it arrived by 'nonnatural means'. When questioned further, he says 'People - if there's one story the money tells us, it's that.' Gray and Fuhriman: Third Place Books, Seattle. August 2010. I asked Tom Kaye one time about that quote from Skyjack regarding the Tina Bar money. He said this: (quoted in its entirety with permission) Thanks for posting. I'm sure you had posted that before, I just don't remember seeing it. You are not the only one that believes the money was a plant, but I don't buy it myself. I think it's a stretch. But, the case is over 40 years old, I think it's OK to explore alternate theories on the money and how it got there. I see nothing wrong with looking at the flight path. I think Fuhriman had to have been mistaken about no one bringing up the idea that the bundles of cash could not have arrived separately. Safecracking uploaded his videos, suggesting the same thing, in January of 2010. I would certainly think that he and Carr discussed this on the forum at the time that Carr was handling the case (although I'm not going to search it out because I can never find anything I am searching for on this forum). Even if they didn't, I have a hard time believing that such a thought would never have occurred to someone investigating the money. It's a pretty elementary thought. 3. Robert, Has Tom Kaye actually said the he believes that "human intervention" was involved in the Tena Bar money? I have never seen that quote, and would like to. What year did you meet with Gray and FBI detective Furiman? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  4. Robert, the pdf still says that KC paid cash for his house. That is not a "minor" point. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  5. Robert, you tell us all the time that x number of people are downloading this pdf every week. Does it not occur to you that the information in it should be correct? It is dishonest to allow this to continue as long as it has. Its not like it was just discovered that this info was wrong. It creates huge credibility issues. And yes, the money was by far the most important thing you had. Now, you have witnesses that are not credible and a 5K loan that cannot be verified. You used to say the "truth was all that mattered when it came to KC". If the truth was all that mattered, you could have been out of the Cooper biz years ago. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  6. The other site has far more Cooper discussion going on. I wish this site could get back to that...perhaps someday. I hear a lot about slander on the other site. Simply stating something that is not true does not make it slander. To be slander, it also has to be damaging. Since the perception is that the general public is not viewing the other site, then none of the things said there can be considered damaging. Thus, it's not slander. That is at least my understanding of slander. Its a word that gets thrown around a lot. 377, I'm sure, could correct me if I'm wrong. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  7. Nice try, hope it works. I won't post the link because it would probably be frowned upon, but there is a place where there is actually some good Cooper discussion going on. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  8. Robert, after the subject of the KC pdf was brought up over at the forum where the Cooper case actually gets discussed, I decided to finally give it a look. Why is it that the house purchased for cash is still in the pdf? This has been known for a while now to not be the case, but its still in the pdf. Why? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  9. Did Bernie know that Kenny was gay? Was Lyle the original source that said Kenny bought his house for cash? If not, who was? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  10. No worries, Andy. Nice school you go to by the way. I saw pictures of it in a news article. If it gives you any comfort, Geestman's family mostly isn't talking to him anymore. His sister Dawn, Dawn's daughter and her three grandsons...all think he was involved in the hijacking. They are not happy that he called his sister and told her to take everything back she told me in her interview. Here's a picture of his sister Dawn, at the time I spoke to her at her house on Fox Island, WA. (attached) Dawn Androsko told Marisa Kagan of History Channel that she wouldn't take back what she said, but that she couldn't bring herself to go on television against her brother. Neither would witness Helen Jones. Jones told History Channel she was frightened of Geestman. But the old lady has guts. She drove up to where they were shooting film in Bonney Lake and spoke to Pete Berg. Jones tells Berg that Kenny smoked Raleighs, and that Kenny admitted to her six weeks after the hijacking that he had been with Bernie Geestman the entire week of the hijacking, when the two men disappeared. Geestman claimed they went camping. This is doubtful at best.
  11. And would he ask for copies of the book if he were involved? He obviously likes being linked to the Cooper case. It gives him a bit of notoriety. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  12. Not your doing Mark That was my way of pointing out that KC is also WAY off the description as well. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  13. OK. Now I'm confused. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  14. Robert, if Kenny was not the hijacker, would you still expect Bernie to remember being with him on that weekend???? Obviously, if they did the job, he would remember that. But, if they simply went camping, would you really expect him to remember that he was with Kenny on that particular weekend, 43 years ago??? I'll buy your explanation of "the picture". But, I see nothing in that picture that ties Kenny to the hijacking. Nothing. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  15. Why is "the picture" important and who put Feburary on it? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  16. Robert, which one is the picture? (Also, the picture with the unidentified people, If KC is the third from the right as the caption says, he is much more effeminate than we thought!!). "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  17. Close, but here is the way I think it went down: Bernie picked up Kenny, they went camping. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  18. Public pressure, no matter how great, will not force the FBI to investigate KC. They already know of him, and know he is a poor suspect. Memories. Why should Helen Jones memory carry any more weight than Marla's? Did Helen pass a polygraph? Robert, you once claimed that Kenny bought his house with cash. Don't fool yourself into thinking this is not a big issue. The cash purchase of his house was the biggest piece evidence you had against him. You simply can't push that aside as if it no longer matters, now that we know he didn't buy the house with cash. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  19. All right...I already answered your question in detail and now you're pretending I didn't. News articles clearly show that when Christiansen was first proposed as a suspect back in 2007 that the Seattle FBI went public with a dismissal. Four years later, they said he had not been dismissed as a suspect. I was told this both by email and phone call directly from Special Agent Fred Gutt. There have been two television shows now exploring KC's possible involvement in the hijacking since that time, one book on the same theme, another where he is heavily explored by Geoff Gray and even leads off the book...a 30 page report made public...and he's the lead suspect on the Wiki page about DB Cooper...with the biggest entry on any suspect. Not a suspect? You have blinders on, my friend.
  20. Of course KC has not been eliminated. You must first be a suspect. I have not been eliminated yet myself....doesn't make me a suspect. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  21. I don't know why, either. Your argument has no merit. Was I angry at Marla? Did I refuse to attend the Portland event because of her? Yes to both. And the reason was simple. You have all these people presenting this suspect, or that suspect. Maybe they are right, maybe not. But Marla was the only one with a planned agenda intended NOT to solve the case, or to add anything to it...but to cash in. I have presented more than enough evidence to prove that. Making money on Cooper? Me? That's a joke. Between the lost editing jobs (I get paid between $350 (ms spellcheck) and around $2,500 (complete book packaging from raw ms) for my editing work. Instead, I stopped doing that for over a year and tossed nearly $10,000 of my own money into checking out Christiansen. AB was weeks from going broke. We've made back less than that on the book, and that doesn't count the editing losses. And I still give it away free to anyone who emails and asks. There was also the time that the film production company represented by Paradigm's NY office offered us $25,000 for the complete rights to the KC story. I turned them down because they had plans to take serious liberties. (Looking back, I'm not sure if this was smart or not. Maybe I should have just done a Marla and taken the money.) Only Marla was in it strictly for money. I just wanted to find out if KC was the guy or not. And what she did hurt civilian investigators of the case, even today, even two and a half years later. Hell, I have more respect for Galen Cook than Marla. He may have made up a few things about me and Porteous in anger, but at least he has tried, and he hasn't lied about his investigation just to cash in with a big publisher. I will give him that. Robert, this is not a personal attack, but I gotta ask - aren't you now going to do exactly what Paradigm was going to do and take serious liberties with Kenny Christiansens story? Also, doesn't that kind of negate the whole "I just wanted to find out if Kenny was the guy" thing? I certainly respect your right to your opinion that KC was Cooper. But to move forward with a screenplay naming him as Cooper, when he hasn't been proven to be, seems slanderous to me. The guy isn't even considered a suspect. 22. Robert, are the witnesses who say that Kenny never wore his toupee after the hijacking the same witnesses who say he missed Thanksgiving 1971? "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  23. Robert, are the witnesses who say that Kenny never wore his toupee after the hijacking the same witnesses who say he missed Thanksgiving 1971? 24. RobertMBlevins says: The former NWA employee called ME. I did not seek this person out. They had read Blast and wanted to know more. So I gave it to them. When I mentioned there would be a slideshow on KC in August, this person checked their calendar and said they would be flying out to attend. Yes, this person is considering endorsing KC as the most likely candidate, but...they want to know exactly what I have to support that allegation. It was my idea to consult with this person when they show up about serving as a tech consultant on some points of the upcoming screenplay on Kenny's life. That was my idea. I say: This persons endorsement of KC is meaningless. Get an endorsement from the FBI and then you may have something. "They were saying he was never gonna make it now, now that daylight had set in. But later that night, they were shining those lights back down on that mountain again." - Todd Snider
  25. Robert, are the witnesses who say that Kenny quit wearing the toupee after the hijacking the same witnesses who claim he was absent for Thanksgiving 1971?
